Things won't respawn inside a flame altar, so if it's not there then the area will need to revert. At least the spot where the dog spawns, if you can use other altars to preserve the rest of the area around that

There's an eternal frost arrow in the revelwood sub biome, it uses mana instead of actual arrows. Damage is a tad lacking but you can opt to use your better arrows for tougher enemies

They've made it a lot easier, you can plant shrubs now and easily get masses of sticks. The worst thing really is feathers and the cost is really low

Plus they gave dex builds daggers, so bow users also have a viable melee option

Like, if Shiny Plates and Heavy Plates in the tank tree effectively do the same thing, boost physical defense by 10%, why are they worded so differently? It's close enough that you can more or less guess/understand that they're meant to do the same thing, but different enough to not be fully clear

I mean that's a small example, there are more confusing nodes than that, but like, for the sake of clarity nodes that do the same thing should have a certain aspect of uniformity just for simple conveyance

You get 10% added to X if Y is active and below 50% before Z has a cooldown of 2 minutes. Meanwhile G has 30% chance to activate X if Z is active for 5 minutes. (When essentially it's give a 5% boost to damage.)

Yeah, things like that. Which is fine if a specific skill or ability has activation conditions, but if it's something plain and straightforward just explain it that way. "Increases your vigor, making you more resiliant by 5%" when they just want to say "5% increased physical armor"

Sounds like you have a longbow, 1s draw speed. The others are most likely short bows, 0.6s draw speed. That's the difference. More power, but almost double the shot time

Fully unlocked vs locked? Damage multipliers vs other misc multipliers?

What are the ignited's stats?

I mean, the one you posted stats for has 3 bonus damage multipliers, but without knowing what the others have I can't really say why it's doing more damage

Yeah, piercing armor won't add to the damage value, it's reflected after the hit so it won't show on the damage value

I mean, it doesn't mean it's better. It just shows a bigger number. The piercing armor can equal more output damage but it doesn't reflect in the number you see

It also depends on whether the other modifiers are complimentary or not

Piercing armor won't do much to added flame damage, it'll only affect the base, so it's kind of a bad stat roll

If it was piercing armor + added piercing damage, with an arrow that does piercing, it would be a different story

Also elemental damage isn't universal, some enemies are weak to some elements while others are strong to them. Take flame, it's great for Fell enemies but not so much vs Scavengers (iirc), so it's not going to do the same damage to two enemy types

Meanwhile, Fell enemies ignore shroud damage, so something with added shroud damage can be strong in a Scavenger camp but weak in an Elixer Well

It basically deals with the critters for me

You can tab to lock on to the target, if you also don't right click to aim and just left click to shoot it will lock onto the enemy

Just means you can't go as far away if you need to use lock on

Resetting your skills is super cheap, so just play around with them all and find what suits you best! 😄
