Tyger is the hardest one because the tower has too many corners and the los is really funky, the other two are much easier.

Also, always tame alone. If another person is in the tower with you, her los keeps seeing them even if they're at the top

The main goal of the game is exploring the world and increasing your strength/ability to craft. Following that will have you going to a bunch of different locations, dungeons, etc. There isn't really grinding or repetitive tasks so to speak unless you're gathering a bunch of resources to recreate Helms Deep or something

Ya, it takes a minute or two. it will say ineffictive but it should do small numbers at least, and make sure you have a high enough level pickaxe. if you catch me online I could come show you if you need me to.

The short answer is "it depends". Different enemies are susceptible to different damage types

I don't think either cutting or piercing necessarily has an edge because I don't think many things are resistant to one but not the other

Like, in most cases, either cutting or piercing will be effective, or they'll both be resisted and you'll want blunt

Exception being things that resist arrows, which are usually resistant to piercing

Unfortunately if the computer hard crashed before the game was able to save your character to your system, this can happen. I would look into why your laptop BSOD'd though, as usually those issues don't just go away. If it happens again take note of the error message in the screen and look it up to see if there is a known issue or solution to the issue your computer is having.

Understandably, the devs are relatively tight-lipped about aht they are plenning to add to the game, with the exception of the roadmap they put out, but even then, they were just "peeks" and not details.

I personally think combat in Enshrouded is serviceable but not one of the high points, and as you point out, some differentiators between weapons would go a long way towards making it feel better

Daggers already have a little something in that their moveset is different if combined with other movement, but this could be applied more broadly across weapons and also across specialty trees

I personally do not derive much enjoyment from my mage being just a source of DPS, and in turn this means the mage's only use is DPS. If you nerf that in any way (range of the spell, damage, casting time), you effectively remove one of very few things that make the mage enjoyable at all in the first place

I would love to see them have access to some of what the community suggested, such as traps, movement or survivability options, more utility

so they become about offering tools to players, for them to mix and match with other skills, and other players on their team

buuuuut having said that it's a lot easier said than done. Adjusting damage is going in and changing a value in the code. Adding a wall of flames or a trap or a teleport spell is immensely more complex and requires animation, vfx, sfx, programming, on top of simply the intervention of the design team

... not to mention extensive testing
