beat cream and egg whites separetly until stiff. Melt chocolate and butter in a steam-bath (make sure no water gets in, it destroys the texture).
Stir the egg yolks and 2 spoons of hot water until creamy, then stir in the sugar. Mix the chocolate-matter under it (with your hands, not with an electronic stirrer!) and then the beaten eggwhites and cream. Put the whole thing in flat bowls and put them into the fridge for at least two hours. garnish with chocolate sprinkles

I agree, I prefer to create the character I want if I'm going to be looking at it and hearing it for x amount of hours. Their solution to the problem is to buy mtx characters that are a different gender and that was wild.

They also try to say that the reasoning is because these characters have backstories, but all of the backstories are agnostic of gender and doesn't really matter if they were swapped.

Oh the gender-swapped characters are purchasable?? That's even worse. It's literally just greed at that point. And I've never really been upset with PoE's monetization before. In a F2P game the devs have to make money somehow and purchasable cosmetics don't bother me but something as baseline as character gender choice is different than a normal cosmetic.

And before anyone ats me with "gender is cosmetic it doesn't affect gameplay" that is true for some people but for others the ability to play as a gender they want to is very important.

I think one of the reasons they didn't have gender swapped versions in POE1 was a technical thing having to do with their animation engine, but I'm not sure what the case is for POE2.

I could understand them not doing it in POE 1 but they've made money hand over fist and have backing from Tencent, there isn't a doubt in my mind they don't have the manpower to do both.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did it for POE2, their animation rigging stuff is way more advanced than it was for poe1. At the very least just having different gendered options for each class makes sense. But probably a much lower priority than finishing all the classes and content.

I think they've said that with their new anim system, making new character models work with it would be minimal effort, once they have all the skill animations made

Not because I hate women but because I'm FtM trans and playing women who are supposed to be a stand-in for me as the gamer makes me very uncomfortable. If the character is her own entity it doesn't bother me nearly as much. So gender-locking classes in an ARPG is never going to sit well with me even if I know it doesn't really matter.

I think with POE specifically, they're trying to go for the "this is a specific character" and not "this is a stand-in for you", just based on the interactions they've shown with the world and stuff. Like your character will comment on places/events in a unique way based on the character itself, so they do have a meaningful backstory within the world usually. Whether or not that's deep enough to justify not having a carbon-copy opposite gender version? That's up in the air since we've seen like... 40 minute snippets of the game so far at most and that's barely enough time to get through a couple zones. 🤷‍♀️

Part of that is a self-imposed issue in my opinion. I don't believe having two different character models is actually full double the production cost, and if it is then you probably have really cringey differences in the models. We all know the real cost for these companies is the jiggle physics overhead.

Well, it's hard to know for sure without having access to their development tools. It's a value proposition for sure, like how new players would they add if they add character customization, and how much effort is it to implement. I doubt it's double the effort, but depending on how their animations interact with character models... even 50% more effort could be substantial.

It sounds like there's somewhere around 120 skill gems in the early access, each with their own animations. Multiply that by 12 characters... that's an insane amount of anim work to start with. But then double it again for each gendered character? That's a pretty significant overhead add unless it's very easy to spin up a new character model. I feel like in an older interview they talked about how much easier it is to add animations for POE2 than 1, so maybe it will be feasible? I dunno.

DISPLAYPORT - no signal --- today before dinner, i turned off Windows then powered off my PSU source, in order to take a picture of the serial number on one of my RAM sticks, which i took out carefully and redid all the steps backwards to insert the RAM and turn on the PC, with no problems...... except my Asus 32" monitor plugged to my RTX 4070 DP port wouldn't turn on as usual (i played this morning before taking out my RAM and all was fine) - i tried many options like plugin in from DP to HDMI and nothing worked, so i fetch my old HDMI Samsung 24" and still no image would appear on screen - desperate i took the PC to my technician and he got same problem with his monitor being blank, but somehow after half hour of tweaks, e just reset all the settings to default and finally an image appear on his monitor - so happy i was to take my PC home to plug it on my display port of my RTX4070 and.... NOTHING !!! but somehow my old HDMI 24" monitor turned on, greeting me back with the desktop i saw this morning. --- CONCLUSION: i found out that somehow DP settings were kept ever since i uninstalled NVIDIA app and latest drivers, which i re-installed just now ...and guess who came back to life ??? my Asus 32" monitor on display port looks OK !!!

"muscular half elf bard wearing leather armor" on various models. AI can produce some scarring memories but these turned out fairly good imo.

Ip Man (the first one) is legitimately one of the best martial arts movies I've ever watched, both in terms of the action and also the storytelling and plot. Donnie Yen is awesome and they do a similar mix of both 'straight up' martial arts and 'environmental' martial arts

And I mean, I'm a fan of martial arts movies. Like, deep cuts of Jacky Chan in the 70s and all those "Bruce Li/ Brice Lee" knock offs

I've seen a lot, and Ip Man is the cream of the crop

1 tsp baking powder

175 g butter

Melt the butter, add the syrup and then mix with the rest. Gives a good crunch in the end!

IDK about that, the only issue I had with SAO is it basically kept finding new ways to tell the same story from season 1

If you want a really good new-ish anime, check out Sousou no Frieren (aka Frieren After the Funeral/Frieren at Journey's End). It's about an elf mage who traveled with the hero's party to defeat the demon king, then afterwards outlived the members of her party and goes on a journey with their disciples to retrace their steps and remember them

I disagree with part of this. here's why, while I'll agree it isn't good to tie your self worth or whole life to a person. it is okay to be sad or even mourn that lost of a friendship or relationship. yes, people get their feelings hurt; But, it is how we learn grow as a person. we have to hold ourselves accountable, apologize, and move forward. Not all people only care for themselves. Some people have been hurt and aren't able to seen they the trauma they suffered is causing them to hurt those they do care for.

Here’s a couple things you need to add one water, not in the well but water where we can create waterfalls moats even ponds make our bases look better too at quest where we can have guards make it feel more like a castle, but the biggest one when MPC‘s open doors, they never close them, including the gates They just leave them open and it looks weird and it also allows enemies to come into the base.
