You have to watch for a certain amount of time. If you click on your name icon in the top right corner and look down the list, it says Drops & Rewards, which usually has a progress bar under it

Yes.

You can use assistants to craft in other bases but for the most part everything is still shared, I do not think that will change.

You have to wait til later to get them. You'll likely be around 10-15 level before you get all the things you'll need and the quest for them

Spoilers area will be best for that, to avoid spoiling where to find things for new people

You need cat bait, toss it in front of them, crouch and sneak to while they're distracted (playing red light/green light) and pet them when you can until they're tamed.

Also, only try to pet once per food. If you try for a second, it usually will go to ? or ! pretty quickly

Don't try to tame the cat together, it usually causes a scare to the animal. One person per catch

Sometimes if you delete not just the top layer but the layer below, then double stack dirt, it removes a lot of the rocky parts. Not always, but it has worked for me

You know what I dislike about Enshrouded? It feel like you have no impact on the world, since it just resets. That and the fact that resetting means you are not required to look for resources since you can just farm and reset an area.

If you unchecked cloud saves, that changes the location of where the save will exist on your computer. You have to put the save in the new save game location or it'll just "disappear". If you turn cloud saves back on, it should show your old saves.

There have been discussions about it. Part of the reason for the resets is to reduce save sizes, and the other is so that multiple people can complete the content. If things like shroud roots didn't reset, other players might miss out on skill points forever.

There's been discussion on if there should be a sort of 'adventure mode' where things like that are permanent.

The game is designed around multiplayer more than solo. None of you are "the" hero of the story, but that being said - questing has some quirks. There are quests that are tied to the world/server that when one person completes, it completes for everyone and others that you can complete on your own. The game doesn't have classes per-say, but you can spec the skill tree into class-lime states or mix and match.

Realistically we'd keep updating after 1.0 too, probably. The main thing "1.0" is for us is a second Steam release, as it promotes the game in steams release algorithms and such again when you leave early access. So our main goal is to have the game be in a state where most of the core design is fairly "set in stone" so to speak.

But yeah, realistically with any game (not just ours), my personal opinion is that you should evaluate a game based on how it currently is, not what it might be in the future. If you like a game enough in its current state to feel its worth the price, then pick it up, otherwise wait for more updates.

That's how I do things, I buy lots of early access games and rarely get "burned" like people say. I don't set expectations on content that's not even out yet, yknow? lol

If I recall correctly, around 50% of the map was accessible before reaching the big red wall. With this new update, how much new content has been added compared to what was already there? Back then, I spent about 90 hours in the game, including some time building bases. My main question is: should I wait for the full release, or is it worth diving back in now? Also, would you recommend starting fresh to explore any new experiences (if there are any), or should I continue from my last save?

Mine are quality as well, but i changed it to balance and it made little to no difference, i then switched it back to quality and it's been running smoothly since.

hello all - apologies if this is not the place to post however I have seemingly lost my character save and have tried all the save/cloud etc tips to recover without success - I think all i'e managed to do really is overwrite any cloud save that might have possibly worked. wanted to add to voices talking about light update. sadly i was one of people who liked everything before, and for whom now whole game is very dark. caves and rooms in my house are pitch black, really impossible to see anything, torch gives so little light i can only see one step away. every item, npc, building and location feels partly covered in black paint. i tried changing settings but saw no difference. wish there was "brightness" option, or "please just same as it was before" button

It's only crafting stations and furniture and such that you can adjust better.
Buildingwise if you want a custom angle, you will have to go back to minecraft mode, and manually place things block by block

There is no limitation in game as far as i'm aware. If you have Vsync on, then you'll be limited by your monitor, if you turn that off you're limited by your hardware. Outside of game you may have something like nvidia settings limiting, if you feel it's being limited.

Structural pieces have only ever rotated 90 degrees. Only props like chairs, tables, etc. can be freely rotated.
