Well my thesis is, those are the remains of Hawthorne Cades relatives.
And why they're that big? They've drunken way too much Elixir.
We don't know in which century Cade had choosen to climb into a pod. But for certain it must be one with gnomes, dwarfs and such magical beings. Cade being a dwarf himself.

yes, I know where the scores are saved. I download them from the server first and then copy them to the Enshrouded save folder. Then I get the error message that the savegame cannot be read.

How did you get your savegames ? FTP : then are you 100% sure they were transferred in binary mode and not in ASCII ? Because that would make them unreadable

what i meant was if you dig all the way to the bottom (where the <bedrock from minecraft> is and you cannot dig any further down) and to the top where the out of border line is (that red thing which you cross it requries ten seconds to get back into <normal> zone).

i used all the 8 flame altars level 4 (160x160x160) and still did not reach the highest point. Dug a very deep hole which i plan to escavate

If my Monitor poowers off due to inactivity, my game crashes, and then, if I restart the game, I cannot move, the game does not register the action of moving, the game registers the esc key, and the up and down arrows, but the movement buttons do not work again until I restart my PC.

the combat is a work in progress, and the skilltree has a long way to go imo, exploration is a blast especially with the danger of the shroud, I would have liked some proc-gen though

Initial Exploration is the majority of the fun.

Combat feels alright at first but devolves into mindless hack'n'slash slaughter, or just forever kite with wands.

Personally I greatly dislike the skill tree they have. There is certain nodes you are just straight up gimping yourself if you don't take, so it has more of an illusion of choice (double jump being the most obvious and egregious). I also think the costs of certain nodes are far out of order, many choices are uninteresting to be generous, and often times somewhat good skills are behind a bunch of fluf or completely useless nodes.

If you love building though, I don't know of many games that can offer you the same freedom to make something truly stylish. The higher fidelity easily beats other blocky voxel options such as minecraft.

And lastly multiplayer... I still wouldn't recommend if you want to ensure you actually experience most of the content yourself. With one friend you always play with at the same time? Maybe. But definitely not persistent servers with everyone doing their own thing and likely at different times. It just doesn't work well at all with world progression.

I don't mind delving into some more specifics though.

To start, +1 in a stat skills are uninteresting. It equates to a minor increase in overall power (Usually around 5%), and that's it. Ofc at end game all the little bonuses add up some, but that still doesn't make it interesting.

Then we have the +1 to a stat for every 2 levels of your flame. Currently this is at MOST +3 for 5 points! considering the +1 stat nodes only cost 1 point, the cost to benefit here is way off. I will ofc admit it's likely the flame level will go higher in the future, but it's still no better than a bunch of smaller nodes until the flame level reach at least double what it is now.

Keeping on the topic of overly expensive, certain perks such as Relentless just don't feel worth the cost. 5 points for just 10% more crit chance for 2H weapons IF you have crit recently? it's not very interesting and expensive. I won't hold it against it either that 2H weapons are just inferior right now to 1H weapons and all other weapon types.

This comes to my point with some skills feeling kinda useless at least in terms of wanting to get to skills after it. What it I want to reach Blood Rage for my 1H weapon killing sprees? I have to put 5 points into the sub par Barbarian, and 5 points Heavy Specialization which does absolutely nothing for me. That makes the investment past the more simple nodes just to reach that one node a total of 15 points, just between the three nodes!

There are certain skills that really could benefit from being on a separate utility tree as well, instead of having to compete with combat skills. The gather skills are really helpful for just casually playing, but those are points you lose from becoming stronger.
I also ofc already mentioned skills that really are mandatory also for a smoother experience (Sneak Attack, Double Jump, Glide Boost, and so on). These eat up more points.

I can continue, just hit the max character limit lol.
Will add though that this doesn't mean there isn't some really interesting skills too, because there are some mixed in. And I will also add that the ability to be able to respec at any time for a negligible cost does alleviate any major concerns, but that's more of a Band-Aid really. I do apprecaiate it ofc.

I believe Wanderlust should be 2 skill points instead of 3 due to the necessity of it during exploration. There are other skills about the same depth or more that give a respective return combat-wise for 2 skill points, whereas an exploration skill like this cost more than the merit of those skills. The benefits on this skill is conditional and very specific to terrain fulfilling these conditions for it to trigger comparatively to the amount of terrain and areas along the map which do NOT fulfill the conditions of the skill - Wanderlust.

I do feel Miner is overpriced for being specific to mining, and the chance to trigger it is much lower than other skills which are specific to a weapon or mechanic being used. In addition, simply comparing it on a trigger to skill point ratio - this skill is much pricier than a lot of skills which have a better percentile chance and even those which are passively improving other aspects of the game. Overall, the current cost feels like it would discourage most from ever picking it up as I mainly hear those that make a stamina-oriented build go after it. Out of all the golden skills which require investment, it is surprising to see this one priced the most.

Dagger Mastery does feel expensive when directly compared with all other damage improving skills, a majority of the warrior and mage damage improvements grant more benefit and cost less than dagger mastery, making it discouraging to go after a dagger-focused build. In addition to the very few perks that are directly correlated to using a dagger.

running a bit faster and more efficiently on roads is not exactly a combat skill either lol

I actually would like a solution where you mine/ chop a material the first time you get a point in ressources, where as you get a point for a explorers tree (which would have double jump, Updraft, etc.) for every spire you explored.

Inclined to agree. Just need enough enemy diversity to make you rethink this strategy half the time. Like say, a phantom that quickly disappears and reappears behind you to try and backstab you, or something with a super fast dash attack. force you to mix in some actual dodges.

I think a part of this is due to not having the tools to really do much of anything else beyond walking backwards

dodging in any direction but directly away from the enemy means less time to cast spells

and the mage has no mobility tools to escape danger
