At 40, you basically can't be outside, even in the shade you're going to sweat to a damaging point in a couple hours. Being without shade in Utah in that weather? I can understand how it could be challening to survive.

Yeah, and that's just studying the effects of the heat. That's only one piece of the puzzle when you're lost while hiking. You're already expending a ton of extra energy from hiking, and then you're probably freaking out because you know you're lost.

Well, the acclimatization is real regardless of skin pigment. I lived in Washington for my whole life, but moved to California for a couple years. The first year or so I was there, I was dying the whole time, but eventually got used to it. Then, when I moved back, I was cold all the time here until I got used to it again.

Here, we make fun of Californians for wearing coats in like 65 degree weather (18c), but they only see temps that low a few times a year.

But, imagine you're from a place with reasonable temps, and you go to Utah on a vacation to go hiking and the sun is that bad.

Learned alot about the car last night it's a pretty sick car pretty glad I saved it from getting sent to the crusher, it's a 2000 Impreza Outback Sport, this beast will make an excellent daily after I restore it to being clean as possible, the interior is mint too, has the ej22 which is probably the most reliable Subaru engine

If it warms up enough today I plan to lift it up and figure out what the deal with the transmission is, won't hold fluid it's either a seal or a line to the radiator

It lives, after messing around with the Subaru all day it's moving around breaking off all the rust from sitting for so long, the more I move it around the better it sounds, engine is mint and the transmission just needs a little more fluid, the AWD system is killer, climbed up a dirt hill while trying it out you could feel a wheel slip then suddenly it would just start mad gripping with the other tires

There is some options like blueberries, cloudberries, sea buckthorn berries, butternut trees, a few varieties of cherries can take USDA hardiness zone 3, currants, elderberries, goji berries, gooseberries, a few varieties of grapes can be grown in zone 3, hardy kiwis can take zone 3, cranberries, hobbleberries, honeyberries, some species of pine nuts can take zone 2, lingonberries, Nanking Cherry, nannyberries, acorns (oak trees) but leaching the tannins out into water is important best to use white oak species, some pear tree varieties can take zone 3, some plum varieties can also take zone 3, some varieties of strawberries can take zone 2, teaberries, all of these can take zone 3 or lower.

I'm hoping Ashes of Creation sticks with the $15 monthly and no P2W, there's some things with that game that does concern me, particularly the caravan raiding system.

Classic has hit a point that it's ehh on story (wasn't the biggest fan of cata), so I'd still go Retail if I started now. They made leveling better and you can pick one expac to level through til you hit war within.

If you're a new player, Wrath is a varied experience and might be fun, Pandaland is one of the easiest to level through because it's more condensed than all the other xpacs, I'm partial to Burning Crusade but that's just because I mostly started end of Vanilla/start of BC and I met my husband playing it.

If goods and services can flow freely within a game then the economy of it dies, the death of a game can be heavily attributed to wrecked economy. New World could be considered to a disaster because of its economic system, the bugs and cheating also were big factors in the game going from huge down to pitiful numbers what it used to be.

With Ashes of Creation the game is going to have some very complex systems and if they do it right it'll be a solid game for a decade. If they screw stuff up like the caravan system and not making it risky enough on attackers as defenders then the economy of the game will suffer. If people feel as though the economy of a game is crap because goods can't flow, particularly because of caravan raids then they'll start to look at other games. Then the population drops and chaos from servers getting merged, which frustrates many.

Too many wow LFG people are rude or in a rush so they just try to speed run it and get mad when someone is trying to even dare to watch a cut scene or read what the boss does.

Yes, it's been in an extremely long time development. I've been watching it for about 2 years now and have had high hopes for it. The livestream they had showing a caravan battle and explaining how the system they currently had worked was a huge concern for me and many other people too because there was almost no risk by any attacking the caravans, which is extremely bad and needs to be redone.

I've been nearly full F2P for most MMORPG and MMO games I've played. I've found if get yourself in with a solidly strong group that's willing to help carry you so you can grow quickly and you return the favor by strengthening the guild and newer members in ways that your current strengths are capable of, then it's a win-win all around. You have to be very active and contributing at least as much as you're taking.

There have been some wrong things said and there have been some complaints, that happens in server especially when things get mentioned a lot (coins had that for a while too, not just vukah).

Some of the statements made by both sides weren't great and has been talked about or deleted. We don't want you to feel bad or disappear from the server but it's not great to bring things back up days later when the subject has been dealt with (deleting in this case). Keep in mind, the Vukah are bad guys in the game, there will be talk about killing them and whatnot, we can't take offense to it all the time. If it's more pointed at you, then we will adjust the chat, but if it's just in general, it will happen and not just from one person.

Let's move on and just enjoy the chat moving forward. Keep vukah down (but not gone) and bad comments will be removed or refrained from.

I grew up next to and working on a dairy farm and my yard also bordered a swamp that was regularly infested with mosquitoes. So I'm accustomed to biting flies, mosquitoes, bad manure smells, extreme heat/cold, sore muscles, dealing with nuisance wildlife. I've told many they've not had a hard day's work until they've unloaded 10 wagons of hay in 95-100°F/35-37°C heat and high humidity, that's enough to make the average person crumble like a crouton because most that tried it quit. Pay was only $5 an hour in the mid 1990s, but we did get pizza/wings if we did 10 hay loads. The most I ever did was 14 loads of hay in 90°F and muscles felt like gelatin by the end of the day.

This is the pond that my grandfather and father built in the 1960s and where I grew up, to the right of the picture it gets very shallow and is several acres of wetlands and a smaller pond. on the other side of pond is more wetlands. Lots of mosquitoes, snapping turtles, beavers and all kinds of fish and other wildlife.

Being able to adapt id say is one of the best traits of human kind, I've worked in +40c cutting lawns and -40c shoveling snow for 6-8 hours a day (southern alberta weather is insane) and thats given me a real strong resistance to extreme weather now

One of you needs to switch your region. Sometimes when your regions are different, it's harder to connect. Try to switch the region of the person not hosting and see if you can connect. Also, I have had trouble when my friends list isn't open and showing me in Enshrouded (a steam glitch). If it doesn't show you in game when you log in, try restarting stream, opening the friends list, and making sure it shows the correct status when you log in.

I personally have found it easiest to join someone in a game using the friends list on Steam. When 1 friend is playing the game you want to join in on, you look at your Steam friends list and see they're playing the game and hit join them through there. I've had several problems tracking down specific servers when doing searches even though I live a couple hundred miles away from the host person in the eastern USA. Once I switched joining through the Steam friends list it solved all problems.

It does seem to be a seriously annoying problem if you live on the opposite side of the world as the person running the server. I lagged REALLY bad sometimes when joining far off servers.

That's why I suggest people join servers from your area. That might be a factor why Steam filters out servers far away.

Sometimes it's good, other times it just hiccups and you spend 30 minutes trying to even join the game. Steam does have some issues with talking, but also, sometimes it is their network or your network. So many things have to go right, but that's true for all hosted/local servers.
