Nope I am good actually. Caffeine does nothing to me which is why I can take naps immediately after drinking it. Has something to do with my ADHD although I don't remember the specifics behind the why of that. Something about it being a stimulant or some such?

ADHD changes the way your body interacts with stimulants- it lets you focus better instead of making you hyper. HOWEVER this does not mean you are immune to adrenal exhaustion (overuse of the adrenal gland, which is part of what caffeine affects) so too much caffeine can still be bad for you

a lot of people with undiagnosed ADHD unknowingly self medicate with coffee or other energy drinks

@jaunty wing Yea that! I have had physicals that include echocardiogram's as well. Nothing has been found that indicates I need to change habits and my doc is aware of my coffee consumption. 1. theres a skill tree where you can level up stuff that goes into certain classes like tank (meele + team buff), healer (range + team buff), battlemage (range + dps), etc.
2. you can start however whenever wherever, you can also reset your skills with the TP which is a flame thingy

There's a lot of content already, and this game isn't like Valheim.

If anything you could compare the building system to a HEAVILY modified minecraft, because it does use "blocks" but those blocks are much smaller, and there are "prefab" pieces like doorways and window sections. The little blocks also behave differently depending on what they're next to (which offers some really useful/interesting behavior).

The game is basically worth the price as-is, and they're going to be adding more content down the road too.

They're saves/worlds put together by players that have several stacks of every item. You copy the save and take what you want or just join the server, they usually reset every hour so it's auto replenishing.

I try to import a World we start from a hosted local game to a dedicated server.

I imported the world files and renamed them with this prefix “3ad85aea”. I took all the files, indexes, characters, etc., from the world. I uploaded these files before the world was generated, and as I navigate between servers I can see that the flame level is different. I told myself it was ok, but when I connect after entering the password, the screen goes black, it loads and I return to the menu. impossible to connect. Stranger still, when I tried to start again on a new world, I had the same problem. I had to repair my client to be able to connect to a world again.

Many apologies. When I posted previously, I was told the question would be passed on to another moderator with more authorities. I wasn't trying to get a "yes" - I just hadn't received an answer at all. 😦
Lore gets a lot of hate from players (and dare I say, perhaps even Discord moderators?) who find it annoying/boring/a waste of time, and would really benefit in having its own, uncomplicated, space. Obviously, this is a minority opinion and I won't ask again. Sorry to have troubled you. Cheers.

You may be able to with some settings tweaking or a cheat engine script but it’ll cause a lot of lag and instability.

Then we would just need a pilot channel for testing new channel ideas and a polishing channel to get them ready for full integration. Then a channel update channel to help keep track of all this.

Been giving this some thought. There are three things I'm going to add, despite my earlier promise to just go away.
1: Dinging someone just for making a request [of the only users who have the authority to answer that request] has a chilling overall effect on the community, stifling engagement. This Discord Server is, in fact, the official place where those of us who want to engage with our fellow players are supposed to feel welcome. You can answer my question in a way I do not agree with, that is fine (and I address that below); but the added "don't tag mods for FRIVOLOUS questions" is troublesome. Who else was I supposed to ask? (I tried individuals before with no luck). And isn't responding to the community like, the JOB of the moderator? You are like "Yes, I volunteer to be a Discord moderator" and also, to the community, "Don't ping me or bother me or ask me to do what I've volunteered to do."
2: Your request strongly implies that you feel that the Lore of this game is "frivolous". Was that intended?
3: Unpacking the Lore of Embervale is a key motivator for some players. The mystery of figuring out what, exactly, happened compels us to spend hundreds of hours in this game. This is by design, of course, on Keen's part. We should not have to risk seeing a spoiler (which would ruin our motivation to continue) to ask an early-game or mid-game question about the story, so the spoiler channel is NOT an answer. The general chat channels also do not work, as other Lore fans may miss the post and questions would just go unanswered.
Keen obviously thinks the Lore is important, they've spent time and money developing it. Those of use who want to engage in Lore speculation with other lore lovers have no place to gather to discuss.

Yes, Lore is likely a small amount of the Community, but this makes it even more difficult to find other "Lore people" to actually find each other. We need a channel, without having to risk spoilers. The nature of "solving the mystery" makes being lumped into the spoiler channel really not viable. 😦
Keen has spent serious writer and dev time on the lore. Respectfully, I think it really needs its own space. I'm not trying to be a pain. It would be really really FUN to have our own place to discuss the many mysteries of Embervale, and that is my only motivation for asking. Help us find each other. Thanks. 🙂

We could probably update the rules posts to surface the ticket system a bit better. That way you wouldnt feel like you'd need to tag us for that sort of request. It's definitely a fair ask, though the #spoilers-ahead channel is generally pretty quiet between patches. It can work well as a defacto lore discussion channel.

We mods are mostly here to protect you from dastardly internet villlains intent on causing problems in the discord. So pinging us is usually a bit like an "emergency alert" is all.

Discussing lore without spoilers is a bit of an odd thought though. Isnt that what most lore discussions are kind of about? Like without spoilers you might be missing key lore tidbits

The way lore (backstory) is in enshrouded atm its not really cotingent on the actual timeframe the gameplay itself takes place in.

I do not think its to a degree it warrants a whole dedicated channel - but thats up to the mods,
It doesnt impeede my being here.

Its not like there is a 'lack' of lore discussion, it happens when a some people feel like discussing it, organically.

There is lore in the placement of scenes, too. And literally where you find the notes. Piecing together the timeline of what lead to the final stand at Long keep, for example, is one of my current projects. Did Jasmine escape from Long Keep or is that her skeleton sitting on the bench right outside the Cinder Vaults door?

It seems to be a steam related issue as far as we can tell so far, been happening on and off for about a week now. Only thing that seems to sometimes work is trying to change your steam download regeion (Out of whatever continent you're situated.) Just remember to change it back when you actually download something ^^
