It is not yet set in stone when chat will be introduced. CUB just mentioned yesterday that they “want” that in the game too. They just seemed to have forgotten to tick the “planned” status. And it doesn't change the fact that Frog and CUB will be occupied now by the Gamescom for now.

Feel like the weapons in enshrouded need a lot of work, feels like there's only a few weapons to get, cant craft any weapons, no spears and no 2 handed swords, i think theres a lot of missing potential for them right now

Doesn't work that way. If there were just a server sitting out there, it would have been drained of resources.

The only reason the resource worlds work is because you can overwrite the world file over and over and refresh the resources stored in the chests.
