ROFL funny story. When I was about 8, I visited the home-farm, and my uncle was farming pigs back then. I wanted to help him, and was adoring on the baby pigs, but he wanted to teach me about actual farming (I really was interested) so I was holding the baby pigs while he pulled out their teeth and vaccinated them. After that I 100% refused to eat pork of any kind... But I also refused to stop eating bacon. 🀣 I mean principals can only get an 8 year old so far.

yeah i mean, you're not harming the animal yourself, so there's a disconnect, it's hard for people to account for things that happen indirectly from their choices. most of us will say the pig was already dead, already harmed, so i am just enjoying a food i grew up loving and think tastes good. vegans who try to be really hard on others about it, wouldn't even call it bacon, they'd call it pig flesh, or murder meat or something lol. but no judgement from me, just saying personally i think how cute and also emotional piglets are... like at least as intelligent as dogs too.. so lovely, so i became vegetarian and then vegan.

when i was a kid i used to catch bugs in jars too, to collect them like pokemon, and observe them. but one time a grasshopper was particularly hoppy, and i closed the lid fast to trap it, and lets just say... it got squished with the lid... and freaked me the hell out, and i threw the jar LOL, and never tried to capture anything in jars again. learned my lesson.

Technically Enshrouded is already on Steamdeck, and people are playing it - but Steamdeck does have problems running it due to the fact that it doesn't really have enough RAM/VRAM to run the game well. They have been and are continuing to optimize the game to run on Steamdeck, but it is an ongoing process.

I went thru same clses likely but typing doesnt give me the same muscle memory crocheting or crafting does, so it never sunk in, in EQ days i ran tons of macros and used two mice {one for move one for clicking}

My last understanding is that they are NOT against modding, however, being a custom built engine, they'd have to also make the tools needed for 'proper' modding, which they are not likely to do until they have completed making the game in the first place. As for Cheat Engine, i don't believe they really care, but given the nature of cheat engine, it's a use at your own discretion/risk thing and when something goes wrong, of course don't go crying to them ^^

It's not a bug, it's the minimum requirement for the game as it was developed to run by Keen. They are working to optimize it to get it to run on 4GB cards but aren't there yet. It is a fallacy that "because I can run X game I should be able to run Y game", especially since Enshrouded is built in a bespoke engine that no other game runs in. That being said, the devs have added a feature that lets you bypass the warning, if you are running the latest version you should be able to launch it, that has been in the game for a while now.

Valheim does actually encourage you to fight by having a skills system. If you don't fight often, you won't deal damage later on. It's near the end aprox. +800% weapon damage boost

But it has gotten difficulty sliders, you can take it easy
And then make it brutal (like I did)
One skeleton murdered me in hardest difficulty with a arrow

You can set the difficulty when you log into the world, not while logged in If I remember right.

You can start with default settings, but adjust them lower If needed for a stress free experience.
