Well depending on the door, if we're gonna discuss that, what immediatly springs to mind for me is things like weight, inertia, materials, animation assets and stuff like that. How it swings, how fast, what noise does it make, is it destructable and things like that. You could probably slap together a cardboard prop door very fast, but to make a realistic one in a vampire castle out of metal with like dungeon moisture on it and stuff is a whole other deal you need to think about 🙂

You don't. Each dedicated server can only host one save. To preserve yours, you'd have to backup the save files, and start a new one, or start a separate new server.

Yeah so copy your save files from the dedicated server directory to somewhere safe, and delete everything in there, start the server back up with maybe a new name in the .json or whatever you want to do, and it will start up fresh. If you ever want to swap back to your old world, just change out the save files.

They ironed out some bugs. Normally you can get 69 comfort (nice!), and 74 with perks I think, but with bugs you can get it higher.

This shouldn't be a factor at all. it can happen once in a blue moon and the resolution is to leave and log back in. If you still can't teleport to your home, its likely connected to server latency if you're playing multiplayer.

Seems to me the solution would be more like: relocate ALL my crafting stations to an underground bunker, and redirect the flow of the sludge in the mire to hydrate my crops ( might kill them as it's still experimental), but, that flame shrine is dead. It must be abandoned !!

The resolution is ensure you arent being affected by latency because the resolution to the issue with Enshrouded itself and the map marker dissapearing for ones own base is to return to menu and then go back into game. However, if the markers are gone when you enter the game that means that not everything is loading into the game itself via latency issues.

While the ranger has the huge advantage of applying damage from a safe distance, we feel that especially against larger groups of enemies, the limited options for areas of effects were too punishing.
Another obvious topic for rangers is the situation when the combat shifts into the melee range. We wanted to provide another option for rangers in close-quarter combat. For that, we introduced the dexterity-based weapon type daggers. In Enshrouded, the role of the dagger is complementary to the ranged gameplay and they are not meant as a 1:1 alternative in power to the sword in the hands of a skilled warrior. Together with the weapons themselves, we introduced new skills in the ranger skill tree to support the dagger gameplay.

We had 56 hours pre update without this issue and started up today for the first time and thought I had the settings set that no one else can get in. less than 10 min in someone come in and destroyed everything. I think the eternal arrows are a neat concept if there's going to be one of every element and the devs let us upgrade them later, since theoretically the mage skill tree elemental damage boosts should work on them

sure they're eternal compared to regular arrows, but they eat mana (and ranger armor and builds normally have like no mana regen) and encourage you to invest in mage tree to boost their damage, which I think more than justifies the ability to strengthen them later in the game

since you'd be chugging mana potions instead of crafting arrows

Build a storage house with no doors, put chests you dont want touched there, close wall. Set permissions for chests only, visitors can access any chests you didnt vault up, only you can unlock with build hammer.

Break down
Lock
Unlock
Chests and doors can have passwords or can be locked
Host has access to everything players can build but not destroy, they can access chests but not those locked by the admin, they can put passwords on their own chests but the admins can access them and remove the password, and all of this is personalized

Na,I think the Raidsystem from Terraria would be a nice one in Enshrouded. There you have a crystal and can start the Raid when you want to do one. So its not random and its at a specific place.

And I for example actually like it the Valheim way. If predictable it takes out the fun for me. Only thing I'd give is prep time of 1-2 minutes.

Ive done the first spire and im level 3 and just got the rising fighter set done and have a scrappy sword (literally) ^^ have blacksmith, huntress ans alchemist ^;

Pacing feels alright, its a bit slower but its a needed change, exp level wise.

Sigh, I know it'll never get looked at, but that error causing crashed with vulkan? It's indices being passed that are bigger than the vertex vector, and it's getting caught by the graphics driver and getting kicked out. At least, that's what causes that with voxel based design a lot. It's part of a long list of voxel programming exercises that go with vulkan.

Define fun and unique in the gaming industry. It has a lot to offer, even though we currently only have about a 3rd of the map available. There is a storyline in there and the exploration is fantastic. The coop aspects are improving with each patch, still things to polish of course but's well on it's way.

So you're looking for a very specific unstuck. I know games that jump you upwards 10 meters, teleport you to a 'checkpoint' restart you at your base... There's no guarantee even if they had an unstuck you'd end up where you wanted ^^
