One of the major changes to the movements is that the center line is wider. Previously, with your weapon centered, if you moved it left or right, your hips would quickly switch, changing your lead leg. Now there is a wider range before that happens.

This adds a new level of movement possibility allowing you additional positions.

Once I leaned into it and made it part of my movements, sword play feels waay better than in the play test

TRIGGER WARNING: Yapperoni Pizza

||Some motherfucker just cut one of my hands off in the infinite abyss and of course as a veteran half-sword abyss demo player I was extremely offended by the loss of my left hand. I thought it wouldn't be much of an issue but understanding that it would handicap the rest of my infinite abyss run I was still pissed. I saw that he was down and unable to get back up after he had dismembered my hand so I decided to beat him to death with my remaining right-hand, that of which is my dominant hand. The moment I threw my first punch the sword he had initially cut my left-hand off with (which at this time had not been in his hands for a while, he didn't pick it back up at any point while on the ground) had DISMEMBERED MY REMAINING RIGHT HAND! Out of rage and being extremely offended by his audacity to have his sword conveniently fall out of his hands and be where my first punch was swung cut my remaining right-hand off, I kicked him to death while missing both hands. I've done worse things out of spite in Half Sword and things like this happen pretty often in the abyss for me so I wasn't unfamiliar with this experience however my score at the time as 2,050 on a good run that I was completely uninjured in up until that point. Anyway, I just felt as if I should share my feelings about this, Half Sword is a great game and I do not take the ability to experience this demo for granted whatsoever.||

One last thing, any tips for not getting knocked while inside someones guard? For example, when the first boss guy does an overhead chop with his 2h axe, i move in for a quick hit with the knife, as hes turning and lifting to return to a neutral stance, the handle sort of brushes me and sends me flying. Its like them picking their weapon back up has the same momentum as when they swing it, which doesnt make much sense

Tbh on the first boss I just wait for the overhead swing, then ill hold up whatever weapon to block and get close, kick him in the leg, drive him backwards while still blocking and swinging side to side, guaranteed win almost every time
