Here is our progress on the redone blood system for Half Sword, we have added blood going down walls with semi-fluid physics, procedural blood pooling and pooling behavior's, a new advanced dynamic directional particles system based on sword swing and force.

made the droplets that they are thick in the beginning. but in few seconds the concrete sucks the blood in like the second pic! This is a little attention to detail. Here is an early preview of what the gravity based blood spray's/bleeding behaves like.
It will look better once it's implemented.
It is fully dynamic and responds to real time movement of objects. <@&1110473709149495336>
This might be the first fully dynamic real time fluid behaviour for unreal that will behave and look like actual blood once it's done.
This can be used for walls, area splatter, and blood pools.

We just wanted to show some of the upcoming weapons we have been working on. These weapons are "Reforged" weapons. Weapons that is a bridge between tool weapons and real war weapons.
These weapons was once tools, reforged to be used for battle, more effective then tools, more durable and effective as a category for more advanced combatants.
So far we have made more Spears, Halberd and Staffed reforged weapons with more to come!

We are working hard and got more to show, probably a extensive YouTube video to show off all of it blood/gore tech system once it's done. Since alot is going on.
Here are some Screenshots and a vid of the wounds system progression.
And a video showing 1:1 blood color system, for realistic real life like coloring of the blood. Outer area lighter red and denser area darkish red, it also takes surface material type to account.
Will make a YouTube video to show it in higher quality once more is finished.
(Weird floating particle, was a test for the 3d mortal Kombat like fluid blood.)

VFX Artist no need to draw animated Alpha maps by hand, which is time consuming.

Hello Half Swordians, here is our new wip eye shader and skin shader tech.
The eye shader reacts to light cast into its iris realistically and reflects realistically with lumen, giving more life-like feel to Willie.
As for the skin tech, it has realistic behavior to light response, real skin is soft with light bouncing around showing less rough details and more soft ness.
New skin tech allows us to add micro details and give it a true next gen visual feel, giving even more life to Willie.
These tech is still being worked on, for Early Access and able to turn off for lower end pc's.

These gorgeous Scandinavian gauntlets, most likely of German origins, similar gauntlets are referenced from wood sculptures in Scandinavian churches.
This particular design is from the medieval museum in Stockholm.
They feature a solid piece of steel strapped to a glove with lamellar fingers.
