Hi, any idea why my discord fails to launch after patching with vencord?

Launching in terminal returns no output.
Going into /usr/share/discord and right clicking discord -> run also doesnt work
Unpatching fixes the issue immediately and allows discord to launch.
Repairing does not help.

Same exact issue happens when installing OpenAsar.

Seems like there is no read access for non root after patching discord with vencord:

Fixed the problem, unintalling OpenAsar fixed VCs... but not gifs? I figured it's only tenor gifs that fail to render, so I'm assuming it has to do with how tenor is shutting down, probably isn't Vencord's fault. So I think that's all there is to it. I'm not sure why OpenAsar was breaking it though

I can only talk about my experiences, I just tested it again and my experiences are:

• Discord (installed using .deb file): VC working regardless if H264 is enabled or not, no error in Chromium debug console, no decryption errors visible in the connection debug screen
• Discord with Vencord (using .deb file and vencord install script from the downloads page): VC not working unless H264 is turned off, when it is turned on error in Chromium debug console, decryption errors visible in the connection debug screen

As per vencord github issue policy (requiring agreement of a developer to confirm this): I have observed a crash specifically related to the plugin FakeProfileThemes. When going into some servers the client crashes while this plugin is activated. I have not yet found the root cause, but only a vague crash report saying "WebpackModule995197:2 Error: Maximum update depth exceeded. This can happen when a component repeatedly calls setState inside componentWillUpdate or componentDidUpdate. React limits the number of nested updates to prevent infinite loops.". Attached is an example of it.

This crash occurs in stable Discord and Vesktop on Linux (non-sandboxed environments). Crashing still happens even if no plugin (besides crash handler) is enabled.
