Hi! I'm a bit tired of having to re-apply Vencord every time Discord updates, and was wondering if it was possible to launch the reinstall/repair procedure from a script? Triggering that script on file system events is then relatively easy. I'm on macOS. VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller doesn't seem to take command line arguments? The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)

The GUI installer doesnt add a category tab for some reason. Tried the CLI and it started working. The user script for firefox doesn't seem to be working, but the chromuim extension does work. Any troubleshooting steps for the userscript? I never used one before. Tampermonkeys says that the script is running.

I installed both. Got desktop working, though the graphical installer failed, had to use the CLI installer. Tried the chrome extension to test it out, it works. The script for firefox doesn't work, there is no vencord category in the settings.

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

So I have an HDR Monitor and needed to adjust the curve to make it look better / more pleasing to the eyes. I used this site https://github.com/dylanraga/win11hdr-srgb-to-gamma2.2-icm?tab=readme-ov-file

I used their linked gen srgb to gamma lut site https://dylanraga.github.io/gen-srgb-to-gamma-lut/ to configure it according to my set sdr windows content brightness value (70).

So from here, everything worked normally with windows hdr enabled, but the problem is discord itself. Streaming works, but is extremely washed out and darkened because it hasn't implemented HDR or support for it for some reason. I have no idea how they haven't done it when OBS has years ago and majority of monitors is moving towards using HDR.

I'd personally have a system where channels aren't visible until it's read, understood, and accepted. Any time someone asks a question relating to a known issue, they get re-locked. A lot less invasive to people with common sense, plus negative reinforcement is shown to work!
