I kind of updated Discord through Epic Games and now when I try to install Vencord again, it doesn't work.

I just did it right now when I uninstalled Discord because it was giving me a lot of trouble when screen sharing.

try the following:

kill discord in task manager if running
windows+r
type %appdata%
move the discord folder somewhere safe
go to %localappdata%
delete the Discord folder

install discord through the installer
discord will open. kill it again in task manager
copy the discord folder that you moved earlier back to %appdata%

this SHOULD allow you to reinstall discord while keeping user data. it worked for me. but your mileage may vary

the launch_signature is a UUID sent to discord's gateway, however it also includes bits which identify whether you're running a modded client or not

Hey, would like to ask for some troubleshooting help. Since one of Discord's recent update (tbh i have no clue exactly which version), the app has been really buggy for the past couple of days. Here are the things I have been facing occasionally since this update

• The loading window gets stuck as I'm launching the app.

• all my settings somehow keeps getting wiped and I have to re-login into the client and redo my settings. (Includes resyncing my vencord cloud settings)

• The app itself reloads on its own and gets stuck on the grey screen

• The in-app notification pop-up is in white and isnt fully rendered

I've done a full clean reinstall a few times with both the client and the vencord installer and I still come across these issues sometimes. Also tried the ctlr+r and clearing the files from %appdata% method but to no avail.

To be honest i don't even know whether this has got to do with Vencord interfering or Discord's connection. i do suspect it could be some of the plugins I have enabled but sometimes the problem still persists before I even re-sync my vencord save

I would like to give Vencord one last chance, as two essential features are not working for me.

1. Discord auth causes extreme problems via RPC, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't 🙁
   Since I am a dev on a FiveM server, I need this feature all the time.

2. When I share my screen (with sound) in a channel, the people watching me, can hear themselves.
   I don't have this effect with the same settings on the original.

It's because of the ServerListIndicators plugin, turn it off if you want to remove it since it's broken for now

The plugin works, just the color is off.
It can be seen elsewhere in vencord as well. For example the text in plugin tab in settings is also wrong.
It happened because --header-secondary is no longer declared anywhere for some reason. If you just declare it again and give it a color everything works just fine.

I was using Discord with vencord working all fine but then a green update button appeared on the top right corner i did'nt click on it because i knew the last time i updated it, it disabled vencord. but then i turned off my pc and started it again and opned discord it updated and disabled vencord. when trying to send messages it only works if i do ctrl+enter instead of enter
this only happens on the desktop version of discord, i tried on the website and it works fine. this issue also is exclusive to discord, i have tried to restart vencord and windows and use a different keyboards yet the issue was not fixed
