The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

Ok so, a feature that allows you to when you right click a server have an option in a menu on the moment to " connect " that server you are in with another server in which will show a list with discord users that are in both or more servers (all) you connect. ( mutual servers)

I already can see when I go to someone's profile or top of messages in DM before messaging but I want this feature to check how much of a community I am in is in another I am without thinking of each individual then check if they are in the same server as I am in or go to anyone's profile, helps with many people.

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)

Hi would anyone here have any idea why screen sharing using hardware encoding isn’t working properly for me through any of the discord apps that use vencord as the core?

I think it’s an arch issue as it occurs in every discord app (vesktop, goofcord, equibop, etc) while others say using vaapi works fine. The only people that share my issue are also on arch/kde it seems.

Screenshare basically loads infinitely for people viewing then just errors out. Sometimes it does load but freezes after a few seconds then goes back to erroring out. If I use software encoding it works fine albeit a little laggy sometimes.

I’m on cachyos with a 7700x and 7900xtx using mesa drivers and this issue happens on both Wayland and x11. I also tried using nobara and the issue remained there I believe as it would only use software encoding.

This is currently happening to me on vesktop through aur, flatpak, cachyos repos, and the official app image and on goofcord/equicord through aur.

I noticed the common theme is that these are all using vencord so I thought I would ask on here and I haven’t gotten much help in the vesktop support chat

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes

i'm unsure how the priority list goes but i think it prioritises RPC, games and music in that order.

so if you're using custom RPC, you can't make it instead prioritise a game. you'd have to turn off your RPC for your game to be prioritised
