The PlatformIndicators plugin doesn’t auto-refresh because it likely doesn’t listen to Discord’s PRESENCE_UPDATE events. That means it only updates when you manually open a user’s profile. This is a limitation of the plugin itself. Until it's updated to include realtime event listeners, you’ll need to refresh manually or use a custom workaround like forcing periodic UI refreshes. Im guessing idk

Hi, I hope this is the right place to put this, because it's not off-topic but not really support either.
The Linux Download website says that if using fish, switching to bash before running the command is required. I just tried it on fish though and it worked just fine for me. This is with fish 4.0.2-1.1 through alacritty 0.15.1-1.1 on CachyOS (kernel version 6.16.0-5) and using the discord 1:0.0.103-1 package installed via the pacman from the regular CachyOS/Arch repo.

Weird, I can only access this chat from direct links or the chats+roles selection menu, it never appears in the chat list, even though it is selected. And when I click "view" in the chat selection menu, it opens in a sidebar as if it was a thread. Only clicking the link opens it fully. I've never seen that in any other group.

Anyway, what I really wanted to report: The "PreviewMessage" plugin seems to use different logic from what actually happens when I send a message. For example when I type "@role" (with the quotation marks before the @), it appears as regular text in the text box, but when I press enter, it turns blue and pings everyone with that role. That's bad, but it's usual Discord levels of bad. The problem here, however: I would expect the PreviewMessage plugin to show that, but it just shows regular text, which is not what will actually be sent. In the months since I have installed that plugin, I've tried a bunch of different edge cases and it's different in a lot of them. So whatever it's doing, it's not using the same code as what happens when actually sending, making the plugin somewhat useless.

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

I don't know why it's displaying differently now but VEVO videos generally were already tossing out the error that the video owner disabled playback on other sites—and that's something FixYoutubeEmbeds didn't bypass even before. From testing other videos on my own server, any that don't have that done, where the video owner didn't disable playback on other sites, they still work normally. It seems like it's only the ones where they had already disabled playing on other sites that are throwing this error. So it's a different error but you wouldn't have been able to play it anyway.

Hey so I've had an issue for a while where part of my screen gets stuck in place, like for example i might try scrolling chat and the top part of my screen is stuck in place while the bottom half scrolls. I'm not 100% sure this is related to vencord but it was happening when i installed it a while back and now i reinstalled it and its happening again (i have to alt tab to fix it but it happens constantly)

Uninstall your AMD graphics card drivers and reboot.

Launch AMD's driver setup tool. When clicking through it, click 'Advanced Options' and then for Driver Type or whatever, click the drop down box and select 'Driver Only'

Except it did bypass it before, the plugin even literally advertises itself as being able to do that (As seen in the image). The second image is the actual error message that was shown before but the plugin makes it disappears immediately and then the video played normally, only recently is it showing me the Error Code 0. I'm not gonna be gaslit, I've been using this plugin for almost a year so I swear to god, that's what the plugin always did and that exact VEVO video I sent here was literally working on the same day just before the bug suddenly started happening and I reported it here

if its claimed it should work
if embeds are blocked by the uploader it wont work

if it worked before on that exact video, either the uploader changed the embed settings or youtube changed something on the backend

Did you get the split second UMG error on those videos that worked? Because it seems only videos claimed by UMG are completely blocked, which again, the plugin says is meant to bypass (And has been for a while). If that really can't be fixed then you might as well just remove the plugin from Vencord altogether...
