then the discord backend loads the link and generates the embed

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hey there, so recently I had to uninstall vencord and discord entirely because when I tried opening discord with vencord installed, discord would just show up with a black screen and wouldn’t load for hours straight. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling / repairing vencord and when I opened discord it gave me a pop-up message saying “Javascript Error”, I repeated the same process and it kept giving me the same pop-up message so I just completely uninstall discord and vencord. Hi! I've tried to disable the ShowHiddenThings plugin at least a dozen times and it won't work. I have it off, and I've tried turning it on and off many times and messing with the settings, but it still shows me channels I should not have access to. Hello, when I stream to my friends, it seems like it records the desktop audio (they can hear their own voices) even though I only chose the specific application itself. I tried disabling plugins like fakenitro but it still happens. I used normal discord and this doesn't happen so it must be an issue with Vencord.

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!

Looks like the userlist gets bugged if Experiments is enabled on canary, but... AccountPanelServerProfile on Release when activated bugs out the Chatbox/viewbox and not the userlist.

Hi guys, i have an issue with DPI scaling. For some reason, only on Vesktop (Vencord basically and on any fork of Vencord) there is missing slider for adjusting the scale of discord. I'm on a 2160p monitor and ngl discord looks really tiny in this way. I attached a SS how i see the settings (i dont remember how its called on vanilla discord but its something with scaling). are there any clues about this?

Hi all, quick one. I've been playing around with BD Themes, not here to debate which is better just what I use, however a friend uses Vencord & i would like to create him a customised theme. are the css themes generally cross-compatible with vencord from BD?
