maybe 15 servers max. Not sure what's going on because when I restart discord it's fine then within an hour the gpu usage goes up like crazy for no reason (it's always idle'd on the friends tab). So it isn't like i'm clicking on things

I'm having issues with some profile pics and server pics not loading... Here are the steps i've taken:

Uninstalled and checked if the problem persisted on generic Discord: Icons loaded fine on generic
Turned off all plugins: Icons Still didn't work
Doublechecked I wasn't using a theme: No Themes, Icons still not working

I did notice when I decrease the zoom level to 75 or increase it to 110 and hover over the icons... they come back for some reason. And they only disappear or reappear when I hover over them. I'd rather not have vencord in either of these sizes

You can reproduce this on stock discord by blocking the only user who has talked in a chat (either in a while, or at all)

Like, go to #aoc-leaderboard and block the bot in that channel and you'll see it happen on stock discord

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

If you're all up to date, try reinstalling with the installer anyway!

I watched videos on how to do this and I understand it quite well, however, whenever every person I watched would run the pnpm inject, it would give the option to either install vencord, install openasar, repair, or uninstall, however mine skips this option and goes straight to the location option (which discord to install it to).
