It's more of a nitpick that the forums searchbar works separately for each forum type whether it's on both view modes.
On websites that have forums like on certain games and communities you don't need to have multiple search bars to discover your post unless you use the search bar on the right side which kinda defeats the purpose of which can be tricky to get it right due of fails but it can still be used on that forum but not on any forum you want to access it.

I've been trying to use the transparent theme feature bc i think it looks cool, so i used the "enable window transparency" setting, and tried it with multiple themes.
It isn't working :(
I tried to revert to ancient UI to see if the problem was coming from new UI. It didn't change anything.
I am a MacOS user btw, and when i restart discord, before discord going on the loading screen, i can see that discord is briefly becoming transparent, then comping back to being opaque. (screenshot is the transparent discord briefly showing up)
I tried it with multiple themes, do you have an idea of where it comes from ?

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

we just provide the tools to modify discord (+ the plugins), not the themes. Vencord has no official theme store.
Besides this has been done before, DTM-16 brings back an old UI.
Vencord will never offer a solution for this

For Vencord issues:

  • If you are able to, run the /vencord-debug slash command
  • If not, provide the following info:
    • How are you using Vencord? (Discord Desktop, Browser (name your browser!!), Vencord Desktop, ArmCord, ...)
    • What OS are you using?
  • Open the DevTools with Ctrl + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and check the console tab for red error messages

Vencord isn't working! :(

The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

If you're all up to date, try reinstalling with the installer anyway!

And if it now still doesn't work, please let us know in our support server

OK so I have a chromebook gateway and I've been trying to figure out how to get it to install desktop discord because I don't like browser discord, and I wanted vencord on Desktop Discord because I DID get desktop discord desktop and now I can't access my vencord at all and I had the settings imported and everything and the closest I have gotten to finding a reliable Vencord plugin to my desktop app is this one, but when I put in exactly waht it tells me then it still won't recognize my commands or inputs and I don't know what I'm doing or how to fix it

not sure if this is the right place but i recently installed vencord and reverted back to the old discord UI by setting control to 0 in experiments. everything worked fine, till i restarted discord to install the newest discord update. now some of the channels are missing the member list, and toggling the member list in the top right does not work. some channels have the member list cut off part of the way.

So, i found something and tbh i don't know if it's really that relevant to talk about it here but anyways

Yesterday i asked about transparent themes, i got an answer, i finally achieved what i wanted to try

BUT, there is a random semicolon peeking from the top left hand corner of my window lmao

Does anyone knows where it could come from ?
Here a two ss i took with old / new ui, i tried with another transparent theme and it does the same thing
