and the difference of file sizes of jpg with and without the query are small, if it will be resized at front-end side, then that plugin could just use the real url instead of constructing a new url with a resize query

also, with a resize query, if the user click to open the original file with the buttom on the pannel of discord, it still needs to re-download the real file, that is costing time, so I think no need to download a smallly resized another version jpg img file

the more is if the image is resized, it may even become worse quality than the webp one, because webp image is higher encoding efficiency than the old jpg format

Why is my Discord laggy?

The most common cause of lag is poorly written CSS.

To see if this is the case for you, try temporarily disabling all themes and your QuickCSS.

If that indeed fixes the lagging, you'll have to figure out which theme / part of your QuickCSS is causing the lag.Just slowly remove parts of it until it doesn't lag anymore.

ehyo so, tried seeing if anyone else was having this problem, but I can't find much of anything, so I'll ask here: profile pictures just seem to be done? At least in chats, they are present if I click on a profile and on the list of users on the right of any given server, however in the chats proper they are nowhere to be seen. I can see usernames and individual messages but no profile pics. I am using Discord + as a theme, and I am on the app, not the browser version

i realized i typed my message in off topic but this isn't really much of a vencord issue because i believe it happens on normal discord, but i noticed that since they updated the buttons on discord to square the activity privacy toggle will also toggle off sharing spotify on your account, and hiding detected games doesn't actually work so you have to share your game activity to share your spotify i was just curious if anyone thinks it's a bug or maybe there's a plugin in the works if it's a feature?

Hi. I've enabled the EmoteCloner and tried cloning emotes and stickers. I right-clicked the emote/sticker, then clicked on 'Clone Emoji.' I would have expected the emote to be cloned immediately then, but then a popout of 'Custom Name' appears instead. I guess it lets me change the name of the cloned emote/sticker, but even then nothing happens when I press enter. What might be the problem here?
