doesn't mean its vencord's fault, try clean installing discord:

1. close discord from your system tray by clicking on the up arrow in your taskbar & right clicking the discord logo and clicking quit discord. close any browser discord tabs too, and then check your task manager and make sure all instances of discord are closed there as well.
2. win key & r at the same time & paste %AppData%/Discord & hit the return key
3. delete the discord folder
4. win key & r at the same time & paste %LocalAppData%/Discord & hit the return key
5. delete the discord folder
6. empty recycling bin & restart pc
7. redownload discord
8. install vencord again to this new discord install

oh ok, well there isn't a super convenient way to obtain a user id without sending a fr or having a mutual server, but there is one way to do it: request your discord data (bottom of privacy & safety tab in discord settings & check only the message box) wait up to 30 days for discord to send it to you (they'll send it to the email on your discord account that was present at the time of requesting it, if you change your email before they send it to you discord will not send it to the new email, so make sure the email on your account is correct), when you get it, follow the directions in the attached video https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1285047577343033400/1307070856739946626/output.mp4?ex=6738f818&is=6737a698&hm=74a77e693b61fd80d2c5a77e8ad4830f0581440ceb03da6826fa427856baf322&, and after that:

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Your Discord seems to have installed in the wrong place. This could be due to a variety of issues.

Hello, couldn't find a format for filing a support ticket so this is my issue I have had for a while.

When I stream a game using the Vencord Client I run into screen tearing and fps drops in-game. When streaming there is no sharp increase in GPU and CPU usage however the game begins lag. The stream itself seems relatively fine. OBS streaming does not cause this and streaming with the native discord client hasn't caused this.

I am running this on Wilma Mint.

it's just so it can optimize the app, all programs do this but in their own way, also, based on your gpu i would highly recommend turning back on hardware acceleration, there's literally no reason to turn it off, the windows kernel will automatically manage it's resources if you actually need the gpu power while discord's on, you really should not worry about "discord high gpu usage" if you have less than 10% total usage on your gpu

2. Type sudo
3. Drag VencordInstaller.app into your terminal
4. Append /Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller
5. The final input should now look something like this. Double check that you have everything correctly, especially the space.

sudo /Users/YourUsername/Downloads/VencordInstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/VencordInstaller

6. Run by hitting Enter and the installer should open. If it says file not found, you made a mistake
7. Installing should now work!
8. If you still get the same error, give your terminal app Full Disk Access and try again
