hey, this isn't a request for support but it might be helpful for some moderators/developers here to inform people. I, and many others, have had their online themes stop functioning today or late last night yesterday and have reached out to theme developers or Vencord seeking help to no avail

This issue is affecting specifically brazillians as nearly every single ISP in the country seems to be timing out on github pages due to(probably) a DNS issue

If you're affected, using a VPN/proxy or simply using a local mirror of the theme will temporarily fix the issue

Some github pages are slowly being restored in functionality and for those having the issue you can check if your ISP has fixed it here

Hello, I installed Vesktop because the screen sharing function works better with Wayland under linux. The problem is that the window has a transparent border (I have this problem with the Beaver Notes application under linux, another application made with electron). On the other hand, my old discord client ( ArmCord ) doesn't have this problem. I've already asked the question on linux forums and they say that the problem may come from a certain setting on electron.

Wanted to disable my picture in picture popup when videocalling someone in the window popout, so i tried doing:

but this doesn' t seem to be working. I can disable elements this way in the actual discord chat window, but not in the videocall popout. I tried changing the style attribute of the element and that works obviously, but how can I do it through quickcss? What am I doing wrong?

If it does not let you paste, type allow pasting (then press enter obviously) and try again

For the chrome extension, vencord only supports version 111 and above
For the firefox extension, vencord only supports version 128 and above

I recently installed the “FullSearchContext” plugin from the official Vencord plugin menu. After installation, I noticed that my Vencord menu has completely disappeared. Initially, I thought it was no big deal and attempted to use the repair button on the installer, but this did not resolve the issue. While the theme I assigned remains intact, I am unable to access the Vencord menu.

Troubleshooting Methods Attempted:

1. Uninstalling and Reinstalling Vencord: I tried uninstalling Vencord and then reinstalling it to see if that would restore access to the menu.

2. Uninstalling and Reinstalling Discord: I performed a clean uninstall of Discord twice, followed by a fresh installation each time.

3. Switching Installation Types: I attempted to install Vencord on a stable version of Discord instead of using the PTB (Public Test Build) version, ensuring it was a clean install.

Despite these efforts, none have been successful in restoring access to the Vencord menu or allowing me to remove the plugin.

ah its because vencord doesn't work on discord ptb at the moment because discord just pushed out an update that broke vencord on canary & ptb. vencord team is working on a fix, but for now, switch to discord stable. btw, you should be using discord stable anyways for vencord, as you will have a much better experience

ptb & canary is only for bug hunting or theme development. it is really shitty for client mods like vencord

I don't know mate, to me it looks like some security issue on 15.1 MacOS, that has not been adressed by Vencord/Vesktop because I don't have issues installing even "free seas" software.
