1. Make sure discord is fully closed in task manager (or tray)

4. Reinstall Discord
5. Try installing vencord again

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Hey, I installed vencord recently to see if it fixed audio issues I was having with using discord, and I has helped a ton there; however, whenever I screen share in a call, viewers can hear their own voices in the stream even when I'm only streaming from an application and not my entire desktop (which was not an issue I'm having with discord). I did a bit of digging but I can't find any solutions for this issue, does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

1. close discord from your system tray by clicking on the up arrow in your taskbar & right clicking the discord logo and clicking quit discord. close any browser discord tabs too, and then check your task manager and make sure all instances of discord are closed there as well.
2. win key & r at the same time & paste %AppData%/Discord & hit the return key
3. delete the discord folder
4. win key & r at the same time & paste %LocalAppData%/Discord & hit the return key
5. delete the discord folder
6. empty recycling bin
7. restart pc
8. redownload discord

Had this popping up on almost every click inside Discord, after installing VenCord. This somehow got fixed by also installing OpenAsar.
