Hi, I have disable reply pings marked as selected in my plugins, but it seems that discord wants to make me default to ON. I can't even CTRL-reply to make it turn off. This USED to work until like a week or so ago. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, turning off the plugin and then turning it back on again. Nothing seems to work. How can I get this to work again. I hate having to turn the ping off when I reply to somebody...

I have read the #1222936386626129920 channel and I have checked the pinned messages, etc, too

to my knowledge because of the way that plug-in works, there’s no way to save it… although a good solution could be going into your app data and grabbing the Discord files making a copy of them

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)

2. restart app fully
3. go into vencord folder with your file explorer and find ExtensionCache
4. there will be a folder with weird name fmkadmapgofadopljbjfkapdkoienihi
5. download the vimium extension crx (ask Google how)
6. extract inside that folder and make it overwrite the files there
7. delete _metadata folder
8. restart app fully again

if it works there you go, if it doesn't work then the extension is probably not compatible with electron

hmmmm, So looks like mic sensitivity (Discords noise gate) does not work at all on vesktop but I have also noticed it does not work with discords own website while it does in discords native application. iirc vesktop is much closer to the web version of discord and not the desktop application so it seems like it is a discord issue and not vesktop. Not really sure how vesktop is built here so not sure how much control over that is patchable

i believe online is better cuz that way it will always auto update if the author changes the css (as long as they dont change the link to the theme that is), whereas local themes only sometimes autoupdate (depends on how they are coded)

hii im so sorry if this has already been asked about but a while back i downloaded the frosted glass plugin (incorrectly at that) and it broke my whole discord. i looked online and it seemed like other people dealt with the same issue. i tried deleting and reinstalling both disc and vencord (this issue comes back whenever i reinstall vencord, unfortunately) and nothing is helping since i dont have access to the settings button - and im only finding uninstall directions for windows. does anyone know how to deal with this on mac? :-)

My themes broke and now I can't open settings or disable them

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i (Cmd + Option + i on MacOs) and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)
• copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup
• remove all themes
