Vesktop is like regular discord with vencord in it but instead of discord making discord and vencord making vencordinstaller and you installing vencord onto your discord app, vesktop is discord made by vencord developers with vencord pre installed so you’re using the discord made by vencord devs and the vencord made by vencord devs instead of the discord made by discord devs and the vencord made by vencord devs. Hard to explain but it’s a custom discord desktop app with vencord pre installed basically.

6. empty recycling bin
7. restart pc

Vencord has the idea around keeping every plugin in source, thus making sure that every plugin that vencord comes with works out of the box and are really good quality code wise.

For 3rd party plugins, it's extremely hard to provide support on as people will just ask for help on plugins that we either don't know the fix for or are just shitly coded. This is why it's locked under a few terminal commands, it's not for normal users.

Also, said 3rd party plugins usually don't meet the quality standard that vencord has and/or the developer specifically doesn't want included in vencord.

One more thing: security
Every plugin that vencord has built-in is safe for the user to use, theres no selfbots, no stupid shit like token loggers or anything. We can't guarentee safety if you use any 3rd party/userplugins.

We provide clear guides on how to get userplugins, but that's all we can do. If you don't understand what they mean, then its clearly not for you.
