Hello i have the issue when sharing my screen in discord, the sound gets extremely loud and distorted after a few minutes and only returns to normal when restarting the stream, but the issue comes again after a few minutes. Hello everyone, does anyone know of an external plugin compatible with Vencord which allows you to modify the fps unlimitedly on screen sharing, as well as the resolution, and the bitrate, I already have my vencord in "developer" mode with the source folder and everything that goes inside, I have already found a file which allows me to do what I am looking for but it is intended for better discord so it is in .plugin but I believe that This file type does not work for Vencord, can someone help me please?

There is a custom client called Vesktop, which is more like the web client. I am busy working on improving the screensharing system inside of it, and I can reasonably confidently answer this.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

If you haven't found any answers yet, it probably has to do with the new update which seems to have changed the class of the title bar and title bar icons (as far as I've found), so most probably your theme needs to update that class for it to be fixed, if you know some css you can do it yourself, new class id is fc4f04, title bar class usually is .themed_[id] or .theme-[dark/light] .themed_[id] (dark or light because it changes if you have dark or light theme), title bar icons are usually just .icon_[id]

I haven't been able to see desktop notifications while using Vesktop since it was installed. Does anyone have a possible fix for this? sorry to repost, this is just a very annoying issue and I'd prefer to use Vesktop over regular VC & discord :P

I figured it out so I might as well post the solution for others...

It appears that installing from the Flatpak is the source of this problem, at least in my circumstance (on Fedora w/ KDE). I installed through the rpm package instead, and it works just fine now. Not sure as to why this is, but I'm not complaining...

Im just glad deciding to join this server, I just explore vencord couple days ago and give it a try to my main discord and then now both of my main and canary discord using vencord, and the thing is before the last update I found out that the moving members from one channel to another channel have an issue which is I cant move them, when using other devices laptop its still wont work and then I relize I sync the cloud feature on my discord and then I tried using phone one and it still work, so I assumed that vencord it self that made my moving members as mod wont work, but then the new update coming and it now work like a charm again. so I decide to join this server cus am starting to enjoy using all feature that vencord provide

You can only use plugins made specifically for Vencord.

if the ctrl + shift + i keybind doesn't work, it's likely because a different program conflicts with the keybind. This is most commonly the AMD Radeon Software. If you have that, disable keybinds in it (see the video below)
