previously I had a bash alias that made things much easier for fixing my install after updates:

So I'm having a bit of an issue with vencord, the install on Alpine Linux just straight up doesn't launch.

I am running ZSH but not even BASH makes it launch, everytime I run the program it outputs a different temp file number who never ends up existing, I couldn't find any info in #1222936386626129920 so, any idea?

Currently I successfully patched discord (for what I can tell) but if I try to open discord ( by clicking the discord icon once or few times ) it doesn't open. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I tried uninstalling vencord, and tried to open discord and it worked just fine. Re-tried to install and patch discord, which again made the discord not open... There weren't any visible warning, not sure where to check.
I'm running ubuntu 24, the lts version.
I have latest discord version installed (also re-installed discord and vencord) and also tried the repair vencord option. I have also tried restarting the whole device

so i updated discord and vencord and i keep getting this error
i completely uninstalled and reinstalled discord without vencord and it opened fine, then i quit discord, installed vencord (using latest version of cli btw), reopened and got the error
uninstalled vencord with cli and still got the error
installed openasar with cli and it loaded, and a new openasar settings menu appeared
so it seems to be working with openasar now but..maybe this needs looking into?

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it
