I'm getting some strange behaviour from the FakeNitro plugin when streaming; If I start the stream pre-selected with 'source' it it seems to stream at 720, but selecting 1080 or 1440 it does stream at the correct quality. Changing the stream quality during the stream does change the quality, ie. going from 720 -> 1440 and back again works fine, but going from any selected quality to source has no effect, the quality remains the same. Anyone experience something like this? I'm on the latest Vencord and Discord version, on Linux (debian), if it's of any help.

Hey guys, I use vesktop, I am a linux user using Plasma 6.0.4 with wayland and I am having troubles screensharing, not even the new updates fixed my lagging issue or bad quality issues, on Gnome 46 with wayland everything works fine but I really despise gnome and love KDE, my PC is a full AMD build with pretty decent hardware and have no Idea what the problem is. My OS is Fedora Linux 40 with KDE 6.0.4. does anybody know anything about this? Because it can't be Wayland right? Since gnome works fine with screenshare on wayland...

I’m running discord, concord f74da73. I cleaned discord cache, reinstalled discord and vencord. Upon opening vencord my discord completely crashes. I have used vencord for ages and it only first started yesterday after I turned off hardware acceleration to hopefully fix Spotify crack, which it did. However this caused the problem to first appear where now when I open discord it starts the gray screen to load and a second later will immediately close.

If I re-enable hardware acceleration it works but Spotify crack breaks again.
Yesterday when I restarted my pc it both let Spotify crack work and discord load with hardware acceleration off.
But then today even despite restarting several times I can’t replicate this.

Basically vencord doesn’t like when I have hardware acceleration off but Spotify crack doesn’t like when I have it on

i have a question: if i have a suggestion for something new to be added to an already existing plugin where do i put that. bc i don't think that'd fit into the plugin requests which are mostly for suggestions for entirely new plugins

Vencord seems to have died following a Discord update some time ago. I did install from source which I know is unsupported, but still asking to see if I can find some wisdoms from kind people. I've tried rebuilding and reinjecting using pnpm/the installer exe, both seem to have no effect. Am I missing something with how Vencord injects into the client itself...?

I've attached screenshots showing my Discord settings and client version, sans Vencord; the attempt to use pnpm build & inject; and the cli installer in the repo itself.

Any help would be appreciated, I have attempted to restart Windows as well as try the normal Vencord desktop installer from the official site just out of desparity but both didn't seem to have any effect.

I'm tryna help a friend who's got some problem installing Vencord on her Windows machine
She had Vencord installed already a while ago but it stopped working, and updating didn't do the trick
So we went and deleted both Vencord and Discord as well as anything in AppData, but nothing works still after reinstalling
