I am on a windows laptop using the vencord application and whenever I attempt to play a video on vencord it does not play and shows only the thumbnail image, I am fine with screen sharing if necessary, I am restating and reiterating because I didn't get any help the last time I sent this request, i have looked through known issues already and did not find a fix.

The most likely cause is that your install is outdated. Check if there's any updates. You can either do so using our inbuilt updater, or if you cannot get there due to crashes or similar, use the "Update Vencord" in the Installer.

Vencord stopped working when I opened Discord today, I'm using the patched Desktop App on Windows 11 with OpenAsar (which is still working as intended), the debug slash command doesn't do anything and the installer reports Vencord as being already installed (repairing doesn't do anything)

The easiest & fastest solution to most issues is to just reinstalll / repair Vencord using the installer. Don't worry, you won't lose your settings! They'll all be there like nothing happened once you're back

PSA for anyone experiencing some desktop issues, vencord seems to only update one version of discord, so when discord updates it's launching a new version without vencord. To delete the old version open %localappdata% with Windows + R, and find the Discord folder and delete whichever version is older, try running discord again- if it doesn't load then manually open the discord version's folder and run Discord.exe

I was messing with the features of vencord and trying them out. Now whenever vencord is active I cant see discord... Like I hover over the tab and I can see that it is loaded and opened, I can even see the name of the channel I was last in, but upon clicking it nothing happens, I remain on my desktop screen. I am pretty sure the thing I turned on to make this happen was the CustomCSS setting. The problem is I cant open vencord to disable it. I tried deleting the caches and reinstalling EVERYTHING. But the setting remains on and therefore I cant open vencord. I tried using the code that is provided to fix this but I am either too dumb to understand how to use it... or it is broken.
