btw you should not be getting this, this was added because many users using 3rd party repackages of vencord (from repositories like nixpkgs) intentionally disable updates so the package manager is used and that requires manual updates on the behalf of those maintainers

The plugin is using DataStore which is local only and not integrated with any of the settings systems. DataStore allows more types of data to be stored which is probably why it's used
