Probably about a month ago, Vencord has started logging me out (or failing to preserve my session, idk), every time I reboot my computer. I'm on Windows 10.

Why do I get logged out after opening DevTools?

Discord tries to protect you from getting scammed by "hiding" your token when you open DevTools, which means it deletes it from storage and only keeps it in memory in order to make it harder to obtain.

If you now close discord before closing DevTools again, your token will not be saved anywhere anymore and as a consequence you will be logged out

Solution: Close DevTools before closing discord or better yet enable the NoDevtoolsWarning plugin which removes this "feature"

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

I think I have 3 requests.

1 of them is a change to Message Logger. Adding an option where if edits to a message are logged, instead of putting the previous version above it & coloring it grey, the removed parts are included in the white text but recolored to red, & the added parts are recolored to green. If more edits are made, then the message that only has the first logged edits is recolored to grey & the red & green parts are darkened, & the white text that represents the new version has new red & green text for the new changes, with the previous red text removed & the previous green text recolored to white.

That change would make it much easier to find which parts were edited.

But the Vencord settings header is removed. So I think it's because it doesn't actually look for billing settings, it just removes whatever is in the place where billing settings would normally be. So I think I just need to move Vencord settings right below billing settings & that will solve the problem & it will still be right below account settings due to billing settings being removed.

then you can just either display: none them or reorder with the css order property

as long as you stick to only https and avoid http sites, you don't need a vpn. its fully encrypted so the network operator cant sniff anything other than the domain you're visiting (like discord.com), but even that only if you use their dns and don't override dns locally to like cloudflare

I didn't even know there were more versions, I just put in the theme +

for transparency and I have discord set to match my system theme (so it's kind of both)

So in the theme it says to put that line in quick css to make that left side of discord transparent and with micaforeveryone it becomes translucent, thing is I don't think that background behind/around the server icons are included in --background-tertiary: and I wanted to make it transparent aswell because when I have something lighter behind discord it doesn't look as good look
