Hello again. Ended up completely switching from Mint to Ubuntu. Got Vesktop/Vencord working, and audio is now working. Issue I'm running into is when streaming, friends are seeing a low framerate. Is there any way to improve that? Googling isn't finding me much.

Well, unfortunately, importing settings doesn't activate the plugins armcord/vencord has. But this is fine. I got all the plugins I needed from there active on vesktop now. Thanks again man.

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will

• disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)

• remove all themes

with vencord its not that easy to do because its a hassle for regular users to even install unofficial plugins

when you right click a user there's invite to server

it's really easy to accidently missclick and invite someone to some server

happened to me so often that i hid the invite option with css

and like if someone hacked your account they would do nefarious things, not something meaningless like inviting your friend to your server
