Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

Additionally, make sure not to post screenshots with Vencord in a server where you might get banned for it

Okay so I found this last night and was confused on if it was some bullshit new discord update or some vencord bug. It's not an issue on my vencord-less phone (yet) and if I do it on web discord, but it's an issue on my alt (which I have logged on DiscordCanary and also uses the same vencord plugins) *but * it didn't have the same issue last night, only starting today. Then again Canary discord is a bit fucky because it asked me to restart for an update like 5 times one day

Anyway, my issue, the main problem, and something that might have fucked my previous rant as well:
I have some sort of textreplacer.... That I didn't ask for and don't remember adding ever.
It changes phrases like wake at 22 to Wake up at 10 p.m. whenever I hit enter. You will also notice that the quotation marks will be fucked up because I put them in code blocks to make the example work without them being changed but it seems to kill the formatting.

I noticed this when I asked and? in one message and it changed to fucking spirit?
I was so confused and thought I was just tired and wrote dumb stuff when my friend asked back but nahhh I'm not in need of pills yet

nope, but you have the devtools (ctrl+shift+i) and its inspector that tells you everything about every element. You should also enable nodevtoolswarning plugin, and for popups the f8break plugin is very useful

if you use the web version, you can install speech-dispatcher and espeakup at least this is what I needed for firefox

I'm not sure how optimized the web version is for other sorts of accessibility stuff, though but it's worth a shot

Hello, I have a problem with streaming. When I go stream an application with audio I start hearing it multiple times and it destroys my ears. People listening to the stream can hear it fine. Checking qpwgraph I can see that an application connects both to vencord-screen-share and a playback (in this case being Easy Effects Sink).

It seems like vencord-screen-share creates another instance of Chromium Input (seen on the picture) and this makes me hear anything twice. That's my theory at least. When I disconnect the application from Easy Effects Sink then the issue gets fixed but people can't hear the stream. If I disconnect the application from vencord-screen-share then the problem also gets fixed and people can hear the stream too.

This problem just appeared out of nowhere so I have no idea what is going on. Does anyone have an idea here?
