Why does my Discord always crash when opening DevTools?

Discord on Windows uses 32bit electron which has a hard memory limit of 2gb. Discord's memory management isn't great so it will already get up to like 1.5gb ram usage if you are in a lot of servers and have it open for a while

DevTools use a lot of memory so once you open them, they immediately push you over 2gb usage. Thus Discord runs out of memory and crashes

Solution: use Discord Browser / Vencord Desktop

Hey all, it's just a quick tip, I don't need help.
If anyone is experiencing issues with such plugins as "SpotifyControls" disappearing after certain amount of time, or if "SpotifyCrack" doesn't let you listen along properly and will stop the song shortly after - Make sure you have only one Spotify account connected to your Discord account in connection tab. It fixed all those issues for me and it might for you.

Every time I open Vesktop all I get is a white screen. I've tried updating to the newest version, restarting my laptop, and uninstalling and reinstalling Vesktop. Neither seemed to have worked. Well usually lightweight than discord’s app as it uses discord web, it also comes with Vencord installed by default so it saves you from headache when trying to patch discord client in case it always doesn’t work for you

If the stream is of an application, it could be the application and windows permissions doing something screwy that doesn't allow for Discord to stream its audio.

If it's on mobile, the same is true. Some apps just don't like to have the audio streamed.

But also allows for dynamically uncollapsing when rolling the mouse over where those elements should be.

I thought the flickering was a theme thing - it continued happening without the theme. I thought it was a plugin theme - it continued happening without plugins. I thought it was a BetterDiscord thing - it continued happening without BetterDiscord.

some themes rely on BDFDB so those wouldnt work on vencord

Discord+ is not 100% fixed, just quick-fixed with one of the theme quick-fixer tools, but the transparency works perfectly on BD

Any theme can be made transparent on BetterDiscord by making the background image a transparent color. On Vencord and Vesktop, it seems using the transparent color trick just makes the background a solid color. And whoever said Vesktop might have a transparent background option didn't remember correctly, as I can't find one.
