since ive installed vencord, some messages in servers im in are just completely ignored, i dont get the little dot on the left of the server icon to indicate there's unread messages in there, some messages just go through and i dont get any kind of notification for it. is this some kind of setting i might have switched on by accident?

Yeah I believe that's only shown if the API sees they are on PC so it's probably either discord being dumb, or their PC is just in a light sleep. (Especially possible in a laptop since oftentimes the power button in laptops just sends the PC to sleep)

Client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service.

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

open the dev tools with CTRL + Shift + i and click on the "console" tab at the top. Then paste and run (with enter) the following code.

It will- disable custom css (you can turn it back on in Vencord Settings)- copy your current theme links to your clipboard as a backup- remove all themes

However, Discord is pretty indifferent about them and there are no known cases of users getting banned for using client mods! So you should generally be fine as long as you don't use any plugins that implement abusive behaviour. But no worries, all inbuilt plugins are safe to use!

Regardless, if your account is very important to you and it getting disabled would be a disaster for you, you should probably not use any client mods (not exclusive to Vencord), just to be safe

So i decided to install the desktop version instead but for some reason the installer don't work at all, like it literally don't even show up anything on task manager don't matter how many times i try to open the installer.
I also tried to run the powershell command but it says something about the IWR not being a valid command and not work.
Using windows 10 pro version, 64 bits.
