Seems like Discord is still running in the background. Make sure you close it fully. It will most likely be in your tray, but if not you can use your Task Manager to force close it. After that, you should be able to install Vencord properly.

Might've been initially caused by other plugins? Not sure. Happened on web when I was enabling all the plugins

yes, Vencord Desktop is our standalone desktop app, not the same as the official Discord client

they don't share settings so that's why your settings were gone, but you can use backup & restore / cloud sync if u wanna move over

Ah gotcha. Doesn't matter to me anyways. I was on canary in the beginning because it was an easy way to have BD and VC installed next to each other for testing purposes. But VC is so much faster that I haven't used BD in months
