aka use the profiler, figure out what is using the most memory
there's so many factors
- being in many guilds
- having discord open for long
- having devtools open
- having specific plugins in a way that might cache a lot of resources
- being in voice chat
- etc
got stock discord to 1gb of ram usage just by doing normal things like scrolling emote picker, gif picker, joing a vc, starting streaming and opening devtools. If you do things like these and also keep it open for a few hours, 1gb of ram usage is "normal" and not caused by Vencord

the way we patch discord is that we replace one of their files with our own. Whenever there's a host update (relatively rare), they create a new folder with new files so it needs to be repatched

basically, whenever i press "install" it tells me theres a broken install. sure, i go to the folder and delete the Discord and SquirrelTemp folder
