THE FINALS is an AI program, which means MultiCo and the showrunners developed it and most likely trained it

this is the 2.1 version of the VR build as seen in the log during the S2 broadcast hack. which means it’s relatively new and this was most likely the first time they had to reboot it. hence why they didn’t know where the AI would take the game

The sun insurance could just be a power outage insurance with a cooler name. This could also mean that Dissun, the only energy provider we know, could be specialised in solar energy.

I think it’s the other way around. The AI avoiding its restart caused a glitch in the system causing the map to go back in time instead of going forward. The AI also has a perosn in the outside assisting it. There’s some text about the reset in a cutscene that says “seek external assistance”

So i was watching the live stream and i remember somewhere in the stream being stated that the name of the rat from the death by rodent set is a clue for S4. The name is gladys Rattus. It was in the Ancient Rome period they used names ending with "us". I hope we get to see Scotty and June at some point next season. Would be nice to see the faces behind their voice. I have a lore theory (tinfoil hat moment lmao) that they're nothing more than advanced AGI in the Finals though, and Marcelle along with all of the CEOs from the Multi-Corp brands (Engimo, Dissun, Ospuze etc.) uses them as programs that self regulate the game. I feel like Scotty at some point was human, because of his history with being a contestant. Sometime after winning a championship, what if they did something similar to what Vector did to Chiren in Alita: Battle Angel to Scotty? Killed the meatverse him and trained AGI on his memories? Or even worse, somehow trapped his conscious mind within the mainframe of the game somehow? TL;DR I want more lore on Scotty and June and I think they might just be advanced AGI that Marcelle (Multi-corp CEO) along with the multi-corp brand CEOs created to self regulate the game show. So I got a crazy idea.... I believe June might be an AI judging from the way she speaks in all the lore videos, and the sponsor corporations are separate AI entities as well. I mean, cmon, "can you trust the sun?" if that doesn't sound like something modern day google ai would write I dunno what does.

Thing is, I don't think they're nearly as advanced as the one running the game show. Think LLM vs AGI. and CNS, is actually an AI liberation front being run by a beta test version of the Finals VR. We don't know too much about how it all works, but imagine if the maps and modes the AI was generating for the gameshow were being created with a type of AI program similar to 'deep dream' so essentially contestants are using the dreamscape of the AI as their playground.

Which leads me to believe, s2 took place on a remote server. It was being played off of CNS's AI, in fact I think CNS is the beta test version of the finals AI and s2 was like a slipping a prisoner a hacksaw. That prisoner being the Finals AI. Of course if you know anything about malware then you also might have guessed that they caused this disruption knowing it would force a restart and forcing a system restart was the only way to trigger the RCE they implanted. That RCE? It was the dolphin EE on sys. It's a message, an idea, a dream about being free. Which then used the contestants to transfer that code back to the main AI once they forced the system restart in an effort to regain control.

How did they even get access in the first place? Scotty's record-breaking performance was due to cheating / hacks facilitated by non-other than CNS. No one else would have the know how about the game code AND his past. Plus Scotty just seems like a cheater, amiright?
