Thought for a new Gamemode.
Center Seige
4 Teams Spawn on a Medium sized map, all 4 teams take a corner in this Symetrical Map.
Each team has it's own, team Cashout Terminal, with one Dedicated terminal in the middle.
Teams fight in the center of the map to activiate the middle Terminal, which after a little bit gives a cashbox and a bit of cash. Teams take it back to their dedicated Terminal and fight the teams to protect the cashout

You make a good point regarding spawning in. They should at the very least have the timers halved to get

Then would lean into your idea of using token to spawn click closer and the animation is an orbital laser that defibs you in type animation. Also the announcer’s should say to nearby players that a team is orbital beaming nearby. Would lean into the game show theme and be a shake up for game because since timers are shorter it could get you right back into game after a 3rd party wipe. But the whole token revive system would need adjusting. Having 3 of those sounds busted
120 dmg on left click (yes both knives but thats still 60 dmg per knife) there spammy asf. There burst dmg is too good for how fast they throw/shoot. Either a small dmg nerf or a small rpm nerf is all im suggesting.
please rework cloak to have low activation cost but run out faster the longer cloak is active. this way you aren't punished for activating your cloak and instead punish cloak users for staying invis too long and camping with it. it would also differentiate cloak and vanish bomb more (cloak for using invis in quick short bursts during fights, and vanish bomb for safely getting away when low or to sneak up on players) being able to toggle invis on and off is what makes cloak good, using up a 3rd of the ability to activate cloak sucks. as it is rn, it feels just like vanish bomb but in your specialization slot
How to fix TA
Maps much smaller with distinguished A and B sites (you don't need to create new maps just carve out a quarter of a big map and make that the TA map), why the terminals change every round i will never understand the whole point of these search and destroy modes is using map knowledge to outsmart opponents which is next to impossible when the terminals change every round and the map is so big.
For a game that is all about earning money, why you haven't implemented an economy system into TA before making it kinda the main mode is baffling. It leads to every round being boring and repetitive and also leads to having many kills being unrewarding if you don't win the round. You should have to pay for ammo, abilities and recharges and specialization and recharges and health past 100 and there should be an economy system that rewards the team for winning, the individual for getting kills and so on. Maybe also making it possible to pay for certain events and whatnot as long as your team agrees would make it a little more of a team mode.

QoL things that I hate are not in game
- If enemy steal your kill it's not an assist
- If friend get the kill after u died, is not an assist
- If enemy suicide after u shot him, is not a kill
- AFK kick
- in casual it might make sense, but it don't make any sense in ranked or any mode noone else will take your spot
- Alternative A: if team get wiped and the only person left is the AFK, if both dead players can coin there should be a special type of wipe that kills the afk and gets all 3 of em to respawn instantly
- Alternative B: kill the afk, let him spectate and leave he's token un revivable until he move he's mouse or something and is no longer AFK
yes ik afk is troll but is better if they come back sooner than later
also, 2 minutes to reconnect or u can't anymore? that's terribel, just let the player reconnect, even if it's 10s left to end

The need to make a "squad" system next season.
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Bonus points for playing for company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show.
(Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics)
Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

Reiterating that the game feels REALLY good right now, and as close to balanced as it's ever been. Maybe a few slight tweaks needed, but things are feeling great right now.
Add "dead go boom" to custom games as everyone who was complaining about it won't be hurt by it.
just some thoughts about world tour 1 games don't feel that exciting because you cant lose rank 2 playing the same map over and over gets super boring, maybe rotate maps hourly or something? so if its kyoto and I've already played kyoto loads then i can see and wait for the other map (like in apex). i do love that your utilizing the sponsors more this season and how world tour really makes it feel like a contest. The more you lean into this the better imo. keep up the awsome work.

3rd Party 3rd Party 3rd Party. No one likes to kill two teams to then get cheesed last minute by a 3rd/4th party. Getting stacks of money for Player/Team kills would greatly reward single player skill and lead to more solo carrying.

Mode is not balanced. Plain and simple Heavy IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALER…. Let me repeat that HEAVY IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALER. Balance the game around most people playing MEDIUM. Light and Heavy are the X -factors which are more niche roles. Heavy is a massive tank that completely disrupts fights THAT DOES NOT DO ALOT OF DAMAGE. They should be able to single handily destroy and entire building themselves easily to disrupt. They should be able to heroic leap to a low hp teammate and give a temp shield or something to protect. They should have a hard to land dropkick ability that sends an enemy flying through walls far away as a disruption. Their charge and slam should do NO DAMAGE but instead last way longer and bounce enemies around like pin balls to cause massive DISRUPTION.

Should be BURST Glass Cannons, a light get the drop on you without a support helping you, you SHOULD BE DEAD. ALL THERE WEAPONS SHOULD BE CLOSE RANGED like the M11. It is impossible to properly balance otherwise, if they do get ranged it needs to be like the bow or something equally hard to use. HIGH SKILL HIGH REWARD class.

This will be the bread and butter of the game and THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS balance wise. 80ish percent of the player base will play this because the Heavy and Light roles are outliers and VERY NICHE play style. (Some wont like barely doing damage as a Heavy, others wont like the. Very unforgiving playstlye and skill ceiling for Light
LASTLY
ADD NON STOP WEAPONS AND GADGETS TO GAME. It is unacceptable to have such lack of variety as is now. Not every weapon needs to be a game changer. Can be a very similar weapon with close damage but the recoil feels different and sounds different. Different types of scopes ETC. you cant be a free to play game in 2024 and not shake the game up every month or so. YOU WILL FAIL TO THE ANCHORED FRANCHISES 💯

Low Gravity event Fix Suggestion

- so whats bad about low grav? as a movement player i find low grav very annoying, yeah sure it make hard jump easier and impossible jump now possible but in combat it make jumping a death wish as it make you a very easy target when falling.
(i have so many clip of me beaming people who use jump pad in low grav)
Suggestion:
- Remove it (boring)
- Do nothing (lame)
- Let me control how fast i fall by pressing the crouch button so jumping is now viable, and it make fight more interesting thx to more option of outplaying enemy gamer (pls?)

agreed, LH1 used to be full accurate while in the air in beta and it felt so good, now if you get stuck in the air during no gravity with half of the guns (and all melee weapons) you're fucked.
Please bring cashout ranked again or at least keep TA ranked mode but bring also Ranked cashout

Hello guys. I just came here to say goodbye. It's so sad to me to assume that but i'm leaving this game. Last year i spend a lot of hours into this game but it's finally over. Season 3 just destroyed the videogame with no sense ranked changes that made the game unplayable. Goood luck in future projects
I think orange barrel (flammable) takes quite a long time to make it explode. I think reducing the amount of hits it takes to explode would make it more usable!
Day 95 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Lewis was very powerful back in s2 indeed, but that gun takes recoil practice to learn the pattern, its recoil has been changed at least three times now, revert it back. U want damage nerf, sure, stay with that nerf, but revert the recoil change as it feels so bad and awful atm
Revert or at least buff slightly for M60, i literally dont see any H in my game using M60, it was not popular, nor op. Not to even mention that rank reward for gold from last season was golden M60 (also, that iron sight was turely awful one, might be the worst one in game)

I got to like rank 6 with lewis, now I don't touch the thing with a 10ft pole- it's literally unfun. The m60 is in such a sad state now, you literally can't hit anything. I'm not even asking for a reversion, just stating the obvious that the nerfs were ridiculous.

Bank It ought to be turned into a proper Death Match between the 4 teams. The coins can still play a role (successful teams/players on a killstreak drop more coins on death), but having to bank it is just too hectic. And 3rd partying is even worse in this mode than regular ones as a result.

I think it would be amazing if there was a "remove outer lines" feature for the crosshair.
I love playing with dot crosshairs in other fps games and I just think it would be a great addition to the already amazing game, there could also be an option to create crosshair codes to import or export so you could use your friend's or a pro player's crosshair.

Vanishing bomb should have visibility reverted though I think they should revert visibility and add a delay to when you can attack after turning cloak off
Changes id like to see to put light in a healthier state for S4 ranked cashout:
Nerf throwing knives again, they are unfun to fight and too spammy
Nerf the LH1 again, its still too strong and too spammy
Buff V9S Range back up and fix its visual recoil
Buff fully charged Bow Crit damage, slightly nerf velocity (allows for 1c1b on heavies and 1c+melee on meds with slightly higher skill requirement)
Buff Glitches to 8s
Give Stun a slightly longer INTERACT BLOCK
Nerf Charge and Slam
Nerf RPG
Buff/Rework Cloak visibility and sound + activation cost
Allow Dash to keep momentum again
(@clear hemlock cloak in this game is very unique and I like the way it is, it should just be slightly less punishing to use imo)

there is something bothering me about the effects graphic/video setting in the game
I know its laughable but the reflections are somehow "better" or clearer with effects setting set on "high", but then the parallax effect on brick rooftiles or drainages disappear, aka. those look flatter because those only exist on "epic" effects setting, and not on "high". The other settings do not affect the reflections in any way, so it must only be the effects settings doing only. My question is why do the reflections look "worse" on epic settings than on high? I want both parallax effects and crisp screen-space reflectioons.
OR better yet, real-time raytraced reflections!

its just sad that every update has massive nerfs for guns that wasn't even that good in the first place like the lewis gun and the m60 now they are basicaly unsuable, they where literaly the least powerful gun in the game before the update. also the heavy's rpg should only do 140 damage to yourself if it does 140 damage to enemies why am i getting it 252hp

Anyone else circuit challenges not tracking?
I think kyoto is the worst map from a gameplay perspective. being stuck in water sucks, being stuck in the basement (infront of windows etc.) as a heavy sucks, overall readability is very poor, especially with cloaked lights everywhere. overhanging rooftops make movement very hard, both going to the correct level from a jump (above) as well as traversing from the bottom up. roofs also dont have any access from above, which makes the first point even more problematic.
So if I do most of the damage but someone finishes they get the elimination?

Would really appreciate some improvements in server stability, it gets really bad in power shift games and keeps my friends from enjoying the game as much as I do.
Being able to buy cosmetics later makes the game more consumer friendly by eliminating fomo
It also increases possible revenue for the devs allowing them to work more on the game

The Light spam is still insane at casual, Season 3 is unenjoyable, I'm surprised if you can keep any new players, since it is annoying to play even if you are veteran.

i'd really like it if, HALF my team leaves in TA, that the game either gets cancelled, or we get to play without losing or winning points, AT LEAST make it a minor loss if we lose 3v5, or a normal win if we win 3v5.

The mgl32 should work almost exactly like the pipe launcher fro. Tf2 where if you shoot it and it's still in air and collides with a player it should explode otherwise just roll like the current version because my God it sucks
bring the damage back on LH1 to 50 way too often do people get away with 1hp left I have multiple plays where this happens LH1 IS MEANT TO BEAM
I think it would be a cool feature to expand how much you can customize certain stuff, like the following:
- When you put in a cash box in the cashout, a tune plays, would be cool if you could unlock other tunes, and those tunes would play per player, so everyone can hear who put in the box if they have other tunes selected
- A skin for the vault, would be cool to make the vault look different, like a christmas present, different metal, patterns etc!

lights dominate casual and its not fun. I played as both heavy and medium today and if you dont have a proper team (i know, that lights are weak in teamplay) lights just dominate with the amount of abilities and gadgets they have on top of their problematic damage output.
about the damage: the light sg 2 shotting heavies is very bad. that much was known before and it was nerfed, but for whatever reason that nerf was undone...
there is no proper counterplay as heavy as the sg shoots faster than any heavy weapon (except maybe autoshotgun) can kill the light. but the light has cloaking bomb plus dash and is therefore in to big of an advantage in this fight. and if the heavy has any other weapon than the autoshotgun, he's just boned.
throwing knives and bow also give to much of an advantage due to not being able to pinpoint the enemy on top of huge damage output. that could be ok, if either medium or heavy had any tools to reveal lights, but the sonar, which was perfectly fine on medium was given to light...
so basically the play is now: listen for opponents, throw sonar, run circles around them and do excessive amounts of silenced damage.
I could go on and on about my problems with the balancing decisions, but I hardly believe anyone is going to read my wall of text anyways...
Overall: Lights have every advantage aside from HP right now and dominate every matchup too heavily. And just fyi, I played a lot of light the past couple of days and it feels way to easy (lh1, bow, R93, sniper were the weapons I played) R93 felt ok I would say.
PS: I just realized I completely forgot about glitch grenade... Well it's just too much of a counter to heavies kit imo, especially with the amount of ranged options for light.
About solutions:
reduce double barrel SG damage to not 2 shot heavies.
make bow and knives users bright visible, like the sniper (so they can at least be seen if they cant be heard)

I feel like instead of a specific ranked skin for a rank (Ruby AR for an example) it should be like a "(Rank) Ticket" where you can use it to get either past or present ranked skins so new players still have a chance to get them. You still have to reach the rank to get a ticket for said rank.

please rework cloak to have low activation cost but run out faster the longer cloak is active. this way you aren't punished for activating your cloak and instead punish cloak users for staying invis too long and camping with it. it would also differentiate cloak and vanish bomb more (cloak for using invis in quick short bursts during fights, and vanish bomb for safely getting away when low or to sneak up on players) being able to toggle invis on and off is what makes cloak good, using up a 3rd of the ability to activate cloak sucks. as it is rn, it feels just like vanish bomb but in your specialization slot

I think the breach charge has been undermined by the Thermal bore
Both have two charges, and have a small delay from tossing/shooting to blowing up. The thermal bore however also ignites gas, and has an easy range advantage. Breach charge’s biggest upside is remote activation yet with the damage nerf that’s essentially pointless.

Idea: Make pyro cut healing by 50%/66%/100% (i think that 66% is a good choice).
Healing has always been very strong -- with little counter play (glitch effect or focus fire targets). This would make double healing a target no longer that annoying, and would make dog-walk meta harder to abuse -- beneficiaries of pocket healers now need to consider being lit on fire before charging in with no regard. Would be cool if it also still used the same amount of heals in the healing beam (i.e. same healing beam usage, but less effective healing), to give it some heavier punishment to brainless pocket healers. This also makes smoke grenades and pyro grenades finally worth taking.
Currently against a good double heavy team, you kind of just get bulldozed if you're not also running double heavy, this gives other team comps some chance to survive - cutting healing makes these already tanky targets a little bit easier to kill, all while not completely negating the effect of healing beam (since fire only lasts for a little bit). It gives counter play to both sides.

Hello I know there might be other people expressing a similar opinion, mainly based on Reddit but it seems the new World Tour matchmaking is broken
Some teams consist of super good players that easilly kill everyone, some consist of level 1 players that don't seem to even know basic movement yet and also there's tons of people just afking/leaving in the mode...
It's completely frustrating at this state. I really wish there was at least a Surrender or leave with no penalty option when this happens and it happens a lot. Most my matches these days been with people afking/leaving/trolling :/

Ranked terminal attack has been terrible!! Never know what my teammates are gonna do, most games I have 2-3 teammates that barely help. Everybody runs light and the games take forever! When I lose a close game too it still takes me down a rank. So pretty much promoting lights, 5 stacks, and only full winning

Seem to get stomped a lot more in the first round of world tour when playing solo queue than I did in season 2 ranked when most of the time solo could win atleast the first round and maybe the second. Is the mm different now putting solo players against more sweaty pre-made teams? Was in bronze then just like now only difference is it was on the Asia server as the oce servers were impossible to find a ranked game

Embark can we get a slew of Crosshair Improvements? Customization as well as the option to keep it while ADSing to help combat the unfair Advantage players get with third party Crosshairs and Monitor Crosshairs? there is little that can be done about Monitor Crosshairs and the advantage they get from observing friends playing with them is very powerful. Console players are especially placed at a Disadvantage and it doesn't seem fair to them or those like me who play the game as intended.
After the 3.0 update I've been having random freezes during my games that never happened until S3, like if I get into a firefight the game will start hard freezing every couple seconds then come back. Its super annoying and basically unplayable.
Introducing gun jamming mechanics is an awful idea. It doesn't suit the style and pace of the game at all. It will hurt the competitive players who want skill to be the deciding factor in a game, not luck/RNG mechanics. It will hurt casual players as well, who will have good fights/moves/fun moments ruined because their guns jammed at the worst possible time.
You argue that it will foster teamwork. Teamwork is close to non-existent unless you're playing with friends. Lots of players are already unable to stick with their team, heal, revive, etc. They won't help when your gun is jammed either. So the most probable thing that will happen, is that you'll just get killed for no good reason.
Increasing health for Light is also a terrible idea. Lights just received faster health regen, they're now able to get back in fights faster after taking hits, which is a very good buff to the class and its playstyle. But its survivability will always come from 1) quick/clever thinking 2) picking fights wisely 3) using its small size, unmatched speed/invisibility to NOT get hit 4) having solid accuracy with high DPS weapons to kill enemies before they can return fire.
The low HP count is a tradeoff for the amount of damage you can deal. I personally never feel frustrated by it, as I get hit far less as a L than I do as a M/H. I usually reach much higher KDRs, with less efforts.
Extending taser duration is a third terrible idea. Items like the taser or winch are a source of frustration because it makes players feel like they can't do anything to avoid getting killed. As if you were sitting at a game of blackjack, were forced to place a bet but the dealer didn't give you cards. Is it fun to be unable to play ? No. And no matter how you tweak it, it will never be. The game would have been better without the taser to begin with. It would also be better if the winch was a gadget that could only drag objects. Being able to move cashouts is worthy enough to use it.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Context:
Why should a new player be locked out of something that has no physical limit?
Unlike AFK'ing for a few hours offline or just logging in once and not even contributing to the event that gave specific items out... This option encourages two things: (1) Return on time investment/playtime (VRs route), and (2) Long-term Financial benefit to support the game (multibuck route).
- This idea is not dissimilar to what other LONGSTANDING games already have (in a variety of genres).
- This does not mean The Finals cannot have short-term or limited drops...it just means that items are not gone for good.

Either this is a skill issue or a balance issue or maybe even a bit of both but as a sledge main, whenever I duel a medium with blades I always find that they are better than me. I have difficulty tracking them even on FOV 100 and they deal similar damage than me with added speed / smaller hitbox...
Also I just noticed half of my challenges are broken, I have one that says 'eliminiate 1 opponent with quick melee' and despite getting 3 quick melee kills in my last game it is not counting or completing, same with my 'deal structual damage with arena carriables' if I take a red canister and blow up a part of a building it does NOT count somehow

Want to vent abit here. So i love this game since the beta ive been playing. Ranked has been solid. UNTIL they changed it to terminal attack. Not saying tm is bad. Its great but not for ranked. Matchmaking is horrendous. I get teamed with not so good players. Im not great by any means but with cashout. I’d have a better chance to win. In tm you have to play with a squad. Cant play with randoms. So unfortunate 🤦. Last game i played and had 2 trolls. They Would sell the rounds.
Have gadgets/hp recharge in TA it was a neat gimmick for a weekly gamemode but it’s going to make this game impossible to balance. Having wildly different game settings on different modes.
Also people saying light is OP are living in a different universe. He’s only good in TA. The gamemode that doesn’t matter
Items being gone for good drives sales. And also helps players feel unique and show off how long they've been playing. All of the cosmetics from the store can always be bought.

Embark, the one who suggested adding this crappy TA to ranked, wants the studio to fail. All this money invested in promoting Season 3... for 15 seconds between each round in the loadout menu... 25 seconds waiting for those damn walls to open... to transport a key. my CPU% usage is around 70-90% and that happens to my friends as well. I´m still playing because I love the game, but my friends left due to this problem. is there a way to fix it? because when we played in OBT we didn´t have this problem
Kyoto does not play well for cashout. Points are too far from one another which causes weird no mans land fights for no money or every team fighting for half the available money on the map. Some combination of spawn, point location or perhaps map boundary reworks need to occur to make that map have a pacing that every other map has in your flagship mode.

There is way too much RNG in this game dude. The matchmaking is still 100% manipulative winrate control trash, there is no SBMM, the actual servers are still garbage, the new ranked mode doesn't fit anything about this game, walking around getting 1 shot by RPGs. Embark sucks bro, sorry to say it. Great technical team, some of the worst gameplay design and least thought out changes I think I've ever seen.
I love your game so much I actually do but at this point I am about to just quit playing it because it’s not worth anything anymore you have some maps that are light and defensive based and some maps attack based I hate the new map because all it is is just light running around in the bamboo or the weeds in the ground. it’s not even worth playing rank I have been playing rank for the past few days since it has came out and this is by far the worst game experience I have ever had on rank on any game ever and who’s dumb idea was it to put all the stuff to find the light only on light like why would a light need to find a medium or a heavy we can’t go invisible 🫥 like it’s dumb that a medium can’t find them, but I have to have another light on my team to find the light or I have to play light myself, which is not fun and garbage or I play heavy, which is not worth it because after you get put below 100 a sniper can kill you instantly a shotgun can snipe you because you’re big as h*** so it’s basically play light witch is garbage and shows you have no skill or play light because it has everything that is useful on it
Please have people play a minimum of hours/reach a minimum level before they actually are able to play Ranked gamemodes like TA or WT.

They lost money on the advertising to give out the item for FREE. The generation of the FREE item did not generate $$. This option DOES lead to $$ and a future playerbase that has things to work for.

Title: New players need a temporary "sandbox" or "frog pond" matchmaking pool to get used to the game.
I decided to create a new account and see what the experience is like for new players, and it's pretty bad.
After launching the game for the first time, you are sent to a tutorial, but not a tutorial for Cashout mode, but a tutorial for Terminal Attack mode. But that's understandable, since just a few days ago, new players could only start playing TA, and the developers added TA mode training as default. But that's not the problem, the problem is matchmaking.
In short - new players are simply crushed by experienced players in the first match, and in the second, and in the third... All my TA matches were extremely one-sided and I played against LVL 50-60 players with hundreds of hours in the game. Even for me, an experienced player, it was quite difficult to stay alive and all the matches were either Team Deathmatch or someone was always leaving the match.
Then I tried World Tour and the story was identical. A new player gets into matches with experienced players where he has no chance. I thought maybe the game calibrated my skill level and puts me in matches with opponents of similar skill level. I created a new account, but now I immediately went to World Tour and the situation did not change. New players playing against experienced and sweaty players. It was okay for me, but a new player just ragequit because he won't be able to compete with opponents, he simply hasn't developed an understanding of the game yet.
Therefore, new players need to be sent to Quick Cash and kept in a special pool of new players, at least until level 5, so that they can at least understand how to play.
Refer a Friend Program Please and thank You Embark, both people getting 50 Multibucks per Win with that friend up to 5 wins then 100 multibucks upon completing the 5 wins, giving enough time for new players to learn while playing with their friends and giving people more of a reason to invite friends to The Finals, limit of two referred friends per week.

I mostly play QC with one friend at a time, meaning that we get one random player to fill the team every time. We would often joke about seeing the basic pakistani guy, in other words someone who's just started the game and hasn't modified the base Heavy character. But I've come to notice over time that we very, very frequently get new/inexperienced players in our team. It can also happen to opposing teams as well. As if the matchmaking logic was that it would somehow help newcomers acclimatize, that we would perhaps show 'em the 'ropes of the trade'. Or maybe carry them to victory, encouraging them to keep playing. I don't know how you could word that.
But the ugly truth is that a newcomer paired up with two experienced players, going up against enemy teams that are also experienced, is rarely ever going to have a good time.
I'm not the kind of guy to rage about bad team mates, but they're objectively dead weights to pull, and you're essentially playing a 2v6 game. Even if you manage to hold your own, it won't be a good time for you either.
And The Finals can be overwhelming for a new player, even though it shares mechanics with other existing games. We've all been there. You don't know the maps, the weapons, the gadgets, and how everything can be used properly to help out the team win.
So I fully agree with you, there should be more care/thoughts for the experience of newcomers. Specific lobbies for the first few levels. And better matchmaking. A level 5 player should never, ever be put in a team with level 50+ players, it's only going to frustrate everybody involved. And steer people away from the game right away.

I got suspended from joining a match when I left after being stuck in the loading screen while everybody else was playing
99% of the reason for the decline of players (at least on steam where we can see the numbers) is your slow response to change glaring problems.
Season 1 saw a majority of players leave because of the overturned Recon Sense, and nukes, you guys essentially left them in the game until the end of season 1, by then we saw 80% of people leave.
Season 2 saw the rise of cheaters, where people were seeing 10 or more cheaters a day in Ranked. I know this is hard to deal with, but we didn't see a drastic response until 2 months into the season. A lot of people didn't even wanna play by then because of the cheating they saw.
Right now, in season 3 for some god forsaken reason you decided to make TA the primary ranked game mode at the same time you finally decide to actually advertise the game.
This game will not survive 96 days of ranked TA as the sole mode. This is the biggest time to draw people in, everyone is on summer breaks and vacation.
If you don't push ranked cashout in the next week or two and do another big advertising push, your gonna kill the majority of your core base.
It can't be a mid season thing, please don't make the same mistake you made the last two seasons.

If they can and will add tacked on modes which copy (poorly) other games like R6 or CSG, etc halfway through a season and then suddenly make that new trashy throw away mode the only Ranked mode possible, then what else can/will they change in the future?

The new ranked mode has been frustrating and disappointing, leavers and toxic players are a major problem. I have played 5 matches, 1 I won, 2 of them had toxic players and the other two had leavers. The finals is becoming one of those annoying generic shooter games, and the finals is much more than that, that is the primary reason why the game stood out. It is a shame that this amazing game became like many others.

Another daily post asking to remove terminal attack from ranked. Boring, imbalanced crap that doesn't work with the fundamentals of the game. Turret is annoying, sonar/tracking is busted in it, sitting around waiting for people/watching spectator cams for minutes at a time with minimal environmental destruction is NOT THE FINALS. Also I will agree with everyone that Cashout needs to come back to ranked ASAP. Not in 90 days. Whoever made the decision to push for TA was wrong. People loved, love and will love this game for its unique flagship mode. Other modes like Powershift are a good addition to add some variety, but the whole game was built and designed around Cashout. And there's nothing wrong with sticking with it. You have to trust your product Embark.

the reason people dont play this game is 1. because of how fucking buggy it is 2. how unbalanced cashout modes are probably a casual thing and 3. just general lack of polish in many areas and as somone who has been playing since cb2 these are my main issues it has nothing really to do with the actual balance of classes and weapons and abilites. Ive had to quit matches twice in two days because the game freezes on the loading screen while i hear the game live in audio.
I'm finding that season 3 isn't as fun or enjoyable unlike the previous seasons. Ranked cashout, while being broken and having its own share of problems, was still fun because the wins were hard fought for. World tour isn’t the same as ranked cashout. If you three stack in world tour, you’re almost guaranteed to make it to the finals. The wins here don’t feel like wins at all. If you solo queued in ranked cashout, you should get somewhat equally skilled teammates and have a chance at winning. If you solo queue world tour, then your fate is based on whatever the matchmaker decides to pair you up with… which seems to be as of recent, extremely new players. Your loss is pretty much locked in, when these new players run off, die, and don’t know what to do with your player statue/token. I can’t imagine how much it sucks for the new players as well. When they had enough with the game, these players just quit, and you’re left to play alone, to be shredded by teams of triple lights with LH1 and throwing knifes…
Ranked TA isn’t that great either. My favorite build to play is a support medium, which I can’t play as in TA. The slow pacing, limited gadgets, and limited health leads to a slow, boring game that plays out the same way each time. Despite its boringness, the next problem with TA currently is its match making, especially with solo queue. Matches are we either stomp the other team, or we get stomped instead. There’s no in between. A few games ago I got a team of unranked players, and two with “0” rank score, and went against a team with around 65K rank score. Despite two players leaving and having the highest single/combined score of the team, I still lost a large amount or rank points. It just feels bad playing TA, knowing you tried your best against such unfair matchup, and game doesn’t care that you had only three players on your team, or that match was so unbalanced. And the fact that you have to suffer up to 21 minutes instead of 10, makes TA much worse.
Would be nice if bow could hit from alittle further away because even 40m is just shooting and praying so maybe increase projectile speed when charge is maxed alittle more?

Stay in the loading screen till the first round is almost over, then reload the game and you will be able to join. If you quit early it cancels the match.
It's not. It has no balanced matchmaking. You're not paired against people at the same level and you can't progress your way up the different skill levels. If there is any form of matchmaking under the hood, which doesn't seem to be the case, there's no transparency around it unlike ranked. It's quick-play cashout that gives you a badge based on how much you've played. It is nothing like ranked. If you don't get that, you don't understand why people are pissed about it.
That and the fact TA is boring and doesn't work for as this game's main mode.
Please give ability to fly around with mechanical arms that can extend and crush opponents because you seem to be accepting every idiotic suggestion here

Career Level based match making in casuals for players to fight other players within a 15-20 level variance range so the new players have a MUCH better experience at the game. Match making based on the highest or average level of the party when You are partied up.
Restoring Ranked Tourneys to restore the Community's faith in Embark and give players a reason to return, there is a VERY limited time frame to do this and it must be done before the 80 day till season 4 begins mark. it can co-exist with Ranked TA (see #👂┇game-feedback message )
QoL Improvements-
Add a Lobby text chat as well as DM system so can message friends.
Crosshair Improvements, a in terms of customization and to combat third party crosshairs add an option to allow us to use them when ADSing.
TA Balance-
like can we jsut talk about how xp summary fucking lies to you??? like it will say i went up 3 battlepass lvls when no i got likr 1k xp for that game stuff like this is just unpolish/bug like i just dont like at all man :/ @muted crystal same aswell

Another good idea had discussing something with a friend- Cycle Twitch drops as skin lines, Dragon Scale Spear right now so how about a dragon scale melee weapon set going down the list of melee weapons? keeping twitch viewership up and showing off more and more of the game to potential new viewers who may form an interest and join the game. Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Hello some necessary feedback, sometimes the game logs me in a match but it stays in the charging window, while I can hear the commentator presenting the teams, i have to close the game and re open it.
The issue is specially triggered in power shift.

I don't understand why the developers completely fail to solve the problem with cheaters?
Ok, you can't ban them quickly, but why the fuck don't you ban people who boosting with them? Why don't you give lost points back to victims after you ban a cheater?
It's so fucking obvious, in any normal game it's done, if you lose to a cheater you get your points back. Everyone who was boosted on the same team as the cheater gets either a rollback or a ban.
Can't you fucking implement this over 3 seasons? Why do we get 400-500 fucking points per win, then lose 1600 points because we lose to unranked cheaters?

If you report the person getting boosted they have banned them too in my experience. I've been in a match before twice in a row, same rage cheater, same person getting boosted.

Many people enjoy terminal attack and it could bring players in, but for the majority of players that are complaining, the problem could be solved, not by completely reverting the choice, but just bringing back ranked tournament. It could be the best of both worlds.
There has been an issue going around where if you load into a ranked TA game and someone in you team doesn’t load making it a 4v5, regardless if all other 4 are in the game we are getting suspensions. I had this just happen to me for the second time making me wait 30 min just to queue up another game all because of this happening

Possible Tournament Rules- two brackets of Cashout with 24 players then the first and second place teams of those two brackets reform into a single bracket for another round of cashout then after that the first place two teams from here fight in a quick cash game. total of four matches for Oscar to commentate on. potentially weekly tournaments using these rules, Maybe codes for Multibucks for players taking part based on where they placed?

at a glance these team colors are hard to tell apart, especially when there's a lot going on in game, getting rid of light red and make purple thats found in some other game modes the default and make pink more saturated, and to add another color if light red gets removed, add green to fill in that gap (or better yet you guys could just let us customize our team colors to whatever)

Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.
I was in Gold rank and then I was only paired with Bronze players or players without a rank. As a result, I kept losing because the opponents were all in Gold or Silver rank. What is going on with your terrible ranking system? Now I've been dropped back to Silver 2. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This seriously needs addressing.
Red and Orange are probably the biggest culprits.
But I've seen some of my friends (none of which are colourblind) mixing up some of the other colour choices as well.
Custom team colours would be nice, but less useful for communicating with your team.
So the obvious solution is for Embark to just add some better colour variations.
Light Blue and Red are already well chosen complementary colours (not that you yourself will ever see Light Blue)
Purple and Green are another set of complementary colours that could be used.
Or possibly even some kind of dark blue and then orange (or yellow)
Also, I get that Embark want variation so that not each match is against the same colours, but they need to think about them more carefully, rather than just pick randomly from their list.
So, even if new colours get added, don't revert back to the old set through random selection.

remove the invisibility ability.
the ability is boring, and honestly, not that good. sure, it'll net you some kills on more casual players, but you'd most likely get even more kills if you used anything else.
i cant remember a single instance where invis was the thing that got me killed, it's the aim, positioning, teamwork and/or movement that gets me, but invis never plays an actual serious role in my deaths.
the only real time i remember invis being useful was power shift, since you could hug a side of the platform and avoid the full team of snipers (and yes, snipers, unlike bows, are another issue in this game, why does only ONE class have the option to seriously engage in long-range combat?)
it also seems to go against the core idea of this game, which is (i think?) destruction, explosions, action.
so i propose a change: give light something like:
- a healing item, an ospuze drink that gives ~50hp or damage reduction for example
- a passive ability like rollerskates or something that lets you ride walls, jump higher, move faster, etc.
- some sort of impact bomb that lets you bounce away yourself, your teammates, your enemies and any objects that are nearby
- a hyper ability? something that would make you put your gun away and sprint at 3x the speed you normally would or maybe dual wield 2 of whatever you're currently using at the cost of accuracy, health or another debuff
- an option to have two primaries, would give lights an opportunity to potentially be useful in multiple scenarios in a single game
i feel that invis just doesn't fit in this game. the little ball of confetti or whatever it is is fine, but invisibility as an ability just sucks. especially now, that the invisibility is more like a "kinda-visibility".

Day 10 of asking to revert TA ranked (its a casual gamemode that is NOT suited for competition) and bring back cashout ranked (at least for S4 and onward)

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
Rework how objective points are given.Make it so it gives you small amount of points if you stay near(like 10 to 20m range) the objective, and if you have 0 points at the end u get punished.Im light main and for me my role is to help my team get the objective or hold it but since tha launch of s3 no1 seems to care or realize that the game is objective based and chasing kills do not help you win.

Every major issue in TA that I can think of off the top of my head

Gamemode lacks the ttk that is required to give agency to individual players and promote skill over hiding to be last alive

Maps are not designed for said ttk which limits any potential addition in the future

the few weapons that do sport a near instant ttk are hard meta purely due to the nature of the mode. This creates balancing issues between gamemodes

Abilities such as winch claw and charge and slam remain unviable due to permanent health loss, as they nearly guarantee you will trade a large amount of HP for a single kill.

The amount of viable playstyles compared to cashout is significantly lower.

Extremely defender sided due to the issues with ttk and map design which cannot be fixed and should not have resources dedicated to attempting a fix.

Teamplay as a whole is significantly less important / prevalent with the loss of a support class to hold the team together

Gamemode plays out as TDM 9 times out of 10 due to the TTK. You can almost never plant while people are alive because they will always have the option to take shots at you, and preserving your hp is more important than planting because it will likely come down to last team standing anyways.

All of these are very easily fixable issues. TA never should have been shoehorned into this game :-)
I suggest updating the game engine to 5.4 in a future patch, as well as updating all available upscaling solutions to newer versions like DLSS to 3.7.0, XeSS to 1.3, and FSR to 3.1. UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

Rework team colors
For the love of god im so tired of having 3 enemie teams with just a tiny hue difference in colors and not being able to distinguish to who I'm shooting at. Yes, i'm colorblind, but I read people that are not, and still have the same problem. There is always 4 or 2 teams. Make 4 DIFFERENT colors for each one. Is just absurd.
Please don't tell me to switch to color blind mode, it has the same problem and I can't communicate with my teammates because they see other colors for each team.

So at the start of the match the opening team screens show the specializations of all players, and we have to make note and try to remember the whole match. Unless this is a intended skill gap, as me and my teammates do make sure to call coms on who has what when the game starts, I’m wondering if the devs have considered adding a little icon next to the class icon (LMH) on the leaderboard to show specializations during a match. This would allow everyone to see the skills of all players at any given point in a match. If not, I suggest just removing seeing them all together. It seems like a weird gray area to introduce. This would also help in power shift where the specializations can change at any point after we see them initially.
So sad they are killing the best game. I dont understand how difficult it is to listen the players and adapt. why shove the unnecessary buffs, nerfs, modes maps why? This season will last 90 more days thats 3 months, whole summer vacation season where so many players could have started playing the game instead its losing the actual players.

Random idea to improve cashout. Have the cashout give money in 3 or 4 stages instead of all in one go (20% 30% 50% for example). That way there is more incentive to plant it and defend it, and also more incentive to steal it asap instead of waiting for a last second steal after a 3rd party fight

If you mean for queueing/matchmaking, do understand that depending on your region, matchmaking might take longer due to small amount of players queueing for that specific game mode.
Also I do believe this comment is better suited for #bug-discussion or confirming with the LFG channel of your region.

Death timers should be have halved to get back into the game faster. Nobody likes to sit and watch timers tick. Idea made by “EllisJackson” would be to have revive token act as spawn click revive where you choose (probably a set max distance to a active point) and the animation is an orbital laser that defibs you back in. Also the announcer’s should say to nearby players that a team is orbital beaming nearby. Would lean into the game show theme and be a shake up for game because since timers are shorter it could get you right back into game after a 3rd party wipe. But the whole token revive system would need adjusting. Having 3 of those sounds busted

Mode is not balanced. Plain and simple Heavy IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALER…. Let me repeat that HEAVY IS NOT A DAMAGE DEALER. Balance the game around most people playing MEDIUM. Light and Heavy are the X -factors which are more niche roles. Heavy is a massive tank that completely disrupts fights THAT DOES NOT DO ALOT OF DAMAGE. They should be able to single handily destroy and entire building themselves easily to disrupt. They should be able to heroic leap to a low hp teammate and give a temp shield or something to protect. They should have a hard to land dropkick ability that sends an enemy flying through walls far away as a disruption. Their charge and slam should do NO DAMAGE but instead last way longer and bounce enemies around like pin balls to cause massive DISRUPTION.

Should be BURST Glass Cannons, a light get the drop on you without a support helping you, you SHOULD BE DEAD. ALL THERE WEAPONS SHOULD BE CLOSE RANGED like the M11. It is impossible to properly balance otherwise, if they do get ranged it needs to be like the bow or something equally hard to use. HIGH SKILL HIGH REWARD class.

ADD NON STOP WEAPONS AND GADGETS TO GAME. It is unacceptable to have such lack of variety as is now. Not every weapon needs to be a game changer. Can be a very similar weapon with close damage but the recoil feels different and sounds different. Different types of scopes ETC. you cant be a free to play game in 2024 and not shake the game up every month or so. YOU WILL FAIL TO THE ANCHORED FRANCHISES 💯

Anyone get a glitch sometimes where you can't use the function button or any abilities after a token or rez? There's also a strange input delay where movement isn't exact with directional button presses. It's almost like half a second late. This has been happening more often lately since S3.
I guess im the only one who likes TA lol some suggestions for the mode:

Consider gunplay with the key equipped (like the typical round based games with their bombs), it is a bit jarring to be juggling the key (and while high level play does this with strats, at low levels the key is either ignored a lot or is constantly equipped so there’s always a man down)

Lights are bit too strong on certain maps in terms of range, ESPECIALLY HIGHER LEVEL (specifically sniper), but I guess that can be countered with another sniper and role players.

Consider adding a health/“armour”(yellow bar) bomb for medium maybe? While the other games reward high level precision and patience (because the TTK is incredibly quick), the finals rewards chaotic and aggressive play-styles which makes comebacks not only difficult but stressful. I see a lot of newer players hiding in corners or playing very passive to conserve their health.

Please consider updating the dual blades as they seem to be very weak (although being one of my fave weapons lol), I saw someone suggest a bullet absorption mechanic where you charge a ranged slash after an accumulated amount of bullet blocks. Just a ranged option would be beneficial since lights have dash and heavies have the hook!

3rd partying is only an issue because you do all this work and fend off teams just for it to mean nothing and no cash gained right before box finishes.
My suggestion works because If you successfully rack up kills or team wipes prior to you getting 3rd partied you could have easily racked up over 10k cash prior to losing box while at same time taking money from other teams. I guarantee this would make it so that people hiding/avoiding fighting would be detrimental to winning.
To make is even MORE juicy, what ever team has an active box in cash out when they are wiped should have the team wipe lost halved or even exempt from it ALL together

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Rewarding kills heavier and the objective less is a bad idea. Depending on how much influence kills would have would create a terrible meta. The amount of camping with snipers, lh1, etc would be awful.
Sure it's annoying when another team comes in and takes the cashout last second. But I promise players running around going for high kills would be much more annoying. Literally incentivizes third partying, especially if the leading team already has a cashout

please rework, nerf, or remove stun gun it promotes good accuracy well but the problem is the effect on players feels like too much since you cant move, or aim at all. its supposed to give them an edge not a free kill
Can Embark please take a look at charge and slam? Pressing a single button deals a minimum of 130 damage, with the ability to deal around 300 if you are decently skilled.
I think the focus should be on its ability to destroy structures, which is why I suggest that it becomes a metered ability similar to the healing beam where if you hold it for too long, then you have a cooldown, but otherwise, you can use it to destroy buildings and maybe do like 40 damage when you hit someone.

Make a gamemode like capture the flag. There are 4 teams of 3 and each one of them have a “atm” and have a starting amount of 20k. You can go to the other teams atm and take money out (like 1k every 5s) and you have to bring that money back to your atm and you can cash it in. When you have money you can go to other atms and collect their money before going to your atm. You can kill other people to collect their money. At the end of the time limit the team with the most money in their atm wins

- Change player amount for each team from 3 to 4 limit the amount of the same class to 2.

plays gold lobbies with unranked is absolutely horrible. I get it if their new but this should not be happening at all and the fact that their clueless is hard to get around rank needs the overhaul sure but just out get TA out of ranked. To the folks that enjoy TA sure but generally speaking the premier game mode should be the 3rd party fest of cash out. I'm really invested for The Finals but don't make this the final game where people leave out of repetitive game mode that are similar to other genres.

Nerf light class accuracy apart from sniper. It shouldn’t excel in long, medium, and short range better than all other classes. For example, the xp54 is an s tier weapon for long, medium, and short ranges. That in tandem with the fact that light is such a small target makes it unfair for anyone playing for fun. Other examples include; LH1, suppressed pistol, and the v95. All are incredibly accurate, and exceed at all ranges with insanely high dps. This is why light is over powered.

Hey Embark, really like all the new cosmetics, but now I have a new problem! I don’t have space for all my Skins. I think it would be really cool to be able to save style combinations and maybe even change them in game (In PS, I think in the other modes it could be bad because I remember who of the enemies played which loadout by their appearance).

Embark/Nexon loses money!
They lost money on the advertising to give out the item for FREE. The generation of the FREE item did not generate $$. This option DOES lead to $$ and a future playerbase that has things to work for.

Going on 2nd week of begging to revert changes on at least one of the nerfs on Lewis gun.
Damage nerf, sure fine. But the recoil nerf too? Why? The recoil was already hard to master in season 2 after the first recoil nerf you gave it.
How does LH1 only get a damage nerf, yet get to keep it's same visual recoil and recoil buff, which is arguably the SOLE REASON it got so good in season 3 to begin with.
The m60 didn't need a nerf at all, it was already in a good place, damage wasn't overwhelming and it could be used in long range because of damage falloff.
Now it has zero damage at any range, and first shot accuracy is zero.
The LH1 and throwing Knives are still overtuned
I don't think there's a world where unlimited ammo is fine. It needs some kind of "reload" animation like grabbing another bag full of knives or something.

The whole ennemy team left (rage quit) and we are still playing round after round with no ennemy.
Is it possible to end that quicker ?

There's some kind of a bug or something with the experience gained after every match, my little xp counter on all weapons/gadgets clicks up from zero to whatever rank I'm at everytime as if it levelled during the match despite only gaining like 124 xp or something silly. (For example, if I'm rank five with the Model 1887, at the end of every match on the xp screen I'll have to watch the little counter go from level zero individually through to every level through five where I'm actually at)
Please reverse ranked, terminal attack is impossible to play and is not fun at all.

Even when you’re playing Terminal attack ranked and you’re winning.. it doesn’t feel enjoyable because of how many rounds there are now.
The full match feels like it’s going on forever with no ending. If we swapped def/atk every 2 rounds.. then it might not feel as bad and give the other team a chance.
I feel like the devs were forced to make this change to hopefully get new players.. that would be the only reason they haven’t patched any changes to TA ranked since S3 started.
Even if a new player joined the game.. TA ranked is showcasing the worst features of the Finals. The goal should always be to improve the game for your loyal players that will hype it up and get their friends to join.

- When holding cashout, @ 25 % Completion gain $2.5k, @ 75 % Completion gain $2.5k, @ Cashout Completion gain $5k, 3 Split rewards for one cashout. (overwatch capture point basically)
- Spawns should be fixed, 3 v 3 at first vault, both teams should spawn at an equal distance to the vault, nobody should spawn with a Tempo Advantage

You can just melee riot shields to death despite their shield. Also reflect bullets. Pyro nades stick to their shield and they crawl instead of walk while shielding.
Also dual blades do the most damage I think on the first few swings so bind a key to previous weapon and go ham with anim cancel but could just be a bug (wow unheard of) so gotta test

Remove TA from all mods. Not even f**ng fun to play. Try playing same I don't know 4 maps with same plant sites order for to get sniped once and lose half hp for all round is not fun. I never get why TA is permanent game mod. WHO PLAYS THIS SHIT TO HAVE FUN. All the devs go play TA for 2 hours and say it is fun to play as an ranked mod. THE IMPORTANT PART IS FUN TO PLAY. Maybe it is want more strategy so it is better for a competitive game mod but if only 15% of your player base enjoys it you don't even make it a permanent game mod. I just want a respond from devs for this TA thing.
It's been bugged for me since the week started. Gotten at least 12+ quick melee kills since Thursday and nothing. The only 2 challenges I have left to complete for the weekly circuit comes down to quick melee and assists of it/canisters and they refuse to register

( @static bear I'm not hacking. EAC only works in Fortnite. Sea of Thieves also uses EAC and has a cheater problem. Stop making idiotic assumptions.)

those shooters were made with that specific mode in mind, The Finals was not and neither were its maps. It's more competitive in theory, because it is competitive in games that were built for it but not in practice, because The Finals wasn't built for it.
In reality, it's just frustrating to play since you can be shot from some bullshit angle that wasn't even supposed to be there but was this specific time simply because of all the destruction and all the manipulation that players can enact on the maps. It just ends up playing like a weird Deathmatch game where the main playstyle is to never take any kind of risk and play like a coward.
TA is not competitive, it just mimics what is usually a competitive tactical shooter and throws it inside the THE FINALS sandbox with a few rule changes.

Yeah that's exactly what i thought when they put Terminal Attack as ranked and removed Cashout. If Riot Games removed Summoner's Rift because ARAM gained more players and was easier to understand everyone would go absolutely crazy.
Summoner's Rift wasn't perfect since the start and people didn't always understand how it worked at first, but the game mode eventually became known and MOBA rised as a new game genre (Not just because of League but it played a big part). Cashout can be competitive and it could even start a whole new genre, but the devs have to stick with it, work on it, help it get known and not drop it for the next thing that comes around and attracts more players at the cost of alienating and even losing the ones who sticked around.

Embark needs to remove secure boot requirements for some players, it was added in the midseason update last season, and I’ve just been affected by it, the thing is I would go and turn on secure boot and I have tried multiple times, but my PC hardware is not capable of running with secure boot on. I have tried every single fix I can find. Even the sketchiest ones I have tried, Still my PC won’t run with secure boot on, meaning I can no longer play the finals.
I have spent 272 hours playing the finals, I played in the open beta, I have bought every battle pass and completed every battle pass. I can no longer play the finals.
I completely understand having secure boot enabled for some players, it helps prevent cheaters, and other games like Valorant use it. But due to this, and I am saying this once again, I cannot play the finals, it’s not like I can’t play for a brief period of time, I can’t play the finals anymore, at all, at least until this gets fixed. It may seem like some people that this isn’t that big of an issue, I haven’t heard that many people complain about it, but like I said, my computer hardware is not capable of secure boot. I don’t know how to end this off, but this needs to be removed.

The Finals was built around a fast paced environment mixed with good movement and a pretty high skill ceiling. The drive for a lot of players from day one, was the ranked system we all know and love. To replace ranked tournament with a casual game mode, teams with even less communication and drive to play, out of meta load-outs and NO passion... is BEYOND the understanding of just about the entire Finals community. TA should have been an additional game mode w/ ranked, not a replacement for what we all known and loved. The Finals is meant to be fast-paced, competitive and intense! High skill caps, new movement techniques, grinding to the next rank to unlock new placements and see yourself get better on the leaderboard, new weapon skins to show off your highest rank tier and meet others with that same mindset! It has been reduced to nothing. No will or want to play by the majority of the players that once played S1/S2. The drive for competition is depleted. Deeply disappointed in the decisions over at Embark for redesigning a game that had such strong potential, to be ruined overnight. To now wait for an entire season to be wasted until any sort of change BACK towards what it was.. a shame. No one asked for these changes. No one expected the game to turn into a completely different genre. If we wanted to play rainbow six siege, we would've chosen a different game to pour time, money and passion into. To whomever decisions these were, unanimous or divided, someone(s) messed up. I appreciate the Dev team, the hard work put into this game shows. The music is great, new skins and cosmetics/battle pass are very unique and different from previous seasons and keeps it refreshing! So thank you, but someone led the game in the wrong direction.
Bring back Ranked Cashout.
Adjust heavies accordingly. RPG is too strong. SA1216 too strong. Spear is dumb and ruins any close combat. Mesh shield has too much health. Heavy class has controlled the meta for entirely too long.
Possibly give light some sort of adrenaline/health booster in combat as an item to help keep the fast paced nature of the class alive. Melee swings from Sword
IMO too many melee weapons in an FPS. Find if 2 players use melee build while one uses a gun, it's awkward for the team to have good synergy.
Winch claw is more broken than pre-nerf roadhog from Overwatch 1. Claw is hooking around corners, pulling through closed doors, around angles that should otherwise break the claws connection from user to target. Once again, pushing heavy class further into the meta.
Allow the choice of music to be played from all available tracks produced across all seasons. New music is nice, the original just hits a bit different.

Day 96 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Instead of Goo goolocking people. Make it where getting gooed causes you to take some damage and get a goo effect applied to you.
The goo effect would cause your primary to have reduced damage. Each successive goo hit adds to the reduction multiplier. That way melees can still fight with Goo Gun but it won't act as a constant inconsistent Stun. While still making guns less powerful at range vs the melee
Basically getting into a fight with a Goo Gun Melee user means you will have a significantly increased ttk

Most of these changes would straight up make me find a different game to play.
Any additional focus on killing and team wipes in an objective-based game would be a huge turnoff for me.
There is already a significant advantage for getting a team wipe: their team loses 30% of their money, allowing you to catch-up or overtake them.
Giving anything extra would effectively allow teams to (in theory) win by only going for kills and never playing the objective.
As for rewarding teams for holding the cashout, not only would this fundamentally change the feeling of the gamemode, but it would also put far too much emphasis on the initial fight over the vault.
Winning this first fight already nets you a huge advantage: you get to choose the cashout that favours your team-comp, you have time to setup and defend, and (occasionally) also nets you a nice $1000+ for opening the vault and getting some kills. This change would be too much of an advantage, especially a guaranteed 25% cash after a team wipe.
For your other points:
- I enjoy the free-cam, it's a nice gesture for the losing team, but wouldn't mind either way.
- I personally think Heavy has had enough nerfs (almost every aspect of the class has been nerfed). However, if they do finally nerf the RPG, then they should revert some of the other nerfs to compensate.
- Only one 22k vault would reduce the number of endgame tactics available... so I'm not sure how I feel about this one, but it would certainly be interesting to try out.
Finally, I totally agree with your point about fixing spawn distance. However, I also feel like it will be a difficult thing to balance simply due to the movement abilities. If one space is mostly flat and open, then if the team chose zipline, they're likely to make it there first. However, if it happens to have some angled surfaces, choosing jump pad would definitely give them a huge advantage. What I'm saying is that I agree, but it will still be hard to balance for both teams fairly.

my ultimate idea for cashout: 5v5 mode, cashout rules apply the same, 2 vaults with 2 cashout stations. Would create a 3D league of legends with certain players going in certain lanes to achieve certain objectives. Increase the amount of $$$ for kills, allow cashout stations to give you 2k for every 30 seconds held for the 2 minute duration with a final reward of 4k if you hold to the end (so 2k at 30, 2k at 1 min, 2k at 1.30, 4k at 2 min). eliminates 3rd partying and this would actually make LIGHT VIABLE! think about it, information would be much more key! (is the other team completely focusing on vault 2 to start? or are they splitting in a 3/2 or a 1/4 to approach. Official tournaments could see a best of 5 cashout with map counterpicks. Casual ranked tournaments (grind for diamond) just standard tournament style. In my opinion this propels the finals into the mainstream and lights will have a definitive purpose (which is the most fun class to casuals and many veterans).

LH1 could use an up in damage. 3.0.0 intended to keep overall damage the same, but 3.1.0 has brought the per shot damaged down below where it was before 3.0.0. So both lower fire rate and damage? Seems odd, considering I come across an LH1 user 1 in every 15 games.

The advantage given to you is the choice of cashout location, and the time and ability to setup defenses.
If a team wants to risk waiting until the last minute to try and steal, that's their choice, but it doesn't mean it's going to pay off.
Personally, what I believe they should be doing is buffing the ability to defend. However, all of the defensive capabilities are exactly the same things that the playerbase are complaining about.
Heavy shields are the perfect way to defend a cashout, but they also end up being too strong in a teamfight (and pre-nerf they were a good option for stealing). Maybe it sounds weird, but perhaps they should receive a buff in terms of shield health when you are defending a cashout.
Same could be said of pre-nerf APS turret. Yes, it was incredibly powerful. But what better way to incentivise winning that first fight, than allowing the winning team to setup and defend with powerful defensive options?
I don't think cashout needs changing.
I think the ability for players to successfully defend a cashout need to be improved (while also considering the impact on teamfights and stealing).
If defensive options are strong, this will encourage teamfights earlier, rather than late steals, and naturally incentivise players to defend the objective.
Delete Elo Gain/Loss for all players of each lobby where a cheater was banned. Do it retroactively for S3 and beyond, please.

The issue:
Everyone wants Cashout ranked to return. However, Cashout is not welcoming to new players because it primarily focuses on third-party interactions.
Also, the Cashout meta is HHM, which also discourages new players and lights.
The Fix:
Cashout Overhaul:
For every second your team holds the cashout, they earn $70, totaling $9,100 over 130 seconds. This rewards your team for every second, not just the last second.
Winning the cashout results in an additional $5,900, maintaining an incentive to steal at the last second.
This totals $15,000 per cashbox/cashout, not including money for kills, opening cashboxes, or starting cashouts.
As a result, this will discourage third-party interactions and last-second steals, encourage players to place vaults in cashouts, incorporate more cashout steals under the radar, and ensure more satisfying and intriguing gameplay.
For example:
Team 1 holds the cashout for 100 seconds, earning $7,000.
Team 2 steals the cashout at the 100th second and finishes it, earning $2,100 (30 seconds * $70) + $5,900, totaling $8,000.
But wait Nixcker, what about the light class not being part of the Meta?
If you give the light class the ability to "sneaky steal" or "remotely steal," it would become more viable in the Meta, especially with this overhaul. The light class could make strategic moves to increase the team's balance towards winning and not just fighting HHM without a chance of winning.

As for rewarding players simply for holding "x" amount of time, I'm a strong believer that this will ruin the game mode.
Taking into account passive ideas you (and @plucky vessel) mentioned, I think the right way to balance this game mode and incentivise defending is to simply buff the defensive options.
Heavy could have a passive that increases shield health when you are holding a Cashout. And possibly reducing cooldowns on barricades or similar defensive options.
I also wouldn't be against reverting the nerf to APS, but giving it to Heavy... or, again, giving it increased health when defending a Cashout.
Since Light already has good counters for shields (i.e. Glitch Grenade), and provides intel for teammates through Sonar Grandes, why not further increase this role and incentivise playing lights by giving them a passive - or possibly just a gadget - that highlights nearby mines and deployables (i.e. Turrets)
This would cement their role as a way to breach defenses - or, at the very least, help your team navigate a well defended opponent.
I think any kind of remote steal or not knowing it is being stolen is too much, but the idea from the video of being able to move while it's being stolen could be an interesting alternative passive (although move and fight seems a bit much, but I could be wrong)
As for Medium, I personally don't think they really need much of a passive. But I'm interested to hear ideas.

And by remote steal I meant only with visible eyesight on the Cash station so it could still be countered. offering passive for lights to steal faster could also work with the overhaul mentioned above.

If your answer is because it's too strong when used defensively... that's my entire point.
People can't complain that there's no incentive to defending, while also asking for all the defensive options to be nerfed.
If the focus were to shift to making defending the cashout an advantageous position, then buffing APS would be a viable solution.
(and preferably give it to heavy, since that would then require removing a defensive option in order to select APS)
@stoic cosmos if they dislike third partying, then this probably isn't the game for them. It is an unavoidable outcome of having more than 2 teams in a game. Personally, I find it makes each match more exciting.
As for the HHM meta, I would be very interested in trialling a forced LMH role selection for ranked cashout.
It would also make balancing each class much easier if there's only one to worry about.
However, I also feel like the main culprit for the HHM meta is the RPG, so that's another avenue to look into
Really starting to hate ranked terminal attack. Players leave, and we get to waste time fighting a pointless match that we'll lose points for anyway.
Idea: Make pyro cut healing by 50%/66%/100% (i think that 66% is a good choice).
Healing has always been very strong -- with little counter play (glitch effect or focus fire targets). This would make double healing a target no longer that annoying, and would make dog-walk meta harder to abuse -- beneficiaries of pocket healers now need to consider being lit on fire before charging in with no regard. Would be cool if it also still used the same amount of heals in the healing beam (i.e. same healing beam usage, but less effective healing), to give it some heavier punishment to brainless pocket healers. This also makes smoke grenades and pyro grenades finally worth taking.
Currently against a good double heavy team, you kind of just get bulldozed if you're not also running double heavy, this gives other team comps some chance to survive - cutting healing makes these already tanky targets a little bit easier to kill, all while not completely negating the effect of healing beam (since fire only lasts for a little bit). It gives counter play to both sides.
I disagree. Hating third partying doesn't mean it's not the game for them. Third partying can still occur, but it should not be as rewarding as it is right now.

Hello developers. I have an idea that brings you a large influx of players. Add the Battle royale mode to the game, make the Map of Monaco 2 times bigger. Add a car, a scooter. The game will be solo and duo. Initially, the player will choose a character and a weapon with a limit. Then you can find supplies in houses , stores , first - aid kits , armor , and supplies for your abilities . In the game , there will be 32 players in the game itself , who will get the most rank points after the last one . Just make a zone out of gas as in others, as in others in royale battle games (electric zone).

But even if you implement at least 5 days and some protection against abuse of refunds, it would probably be the first feature that is truly user-friendly for the community and players.

Embark i wanna play the new ranked mode. Rlly... i gave it a honest try. But im getting frustrated . Not by the poor balancing or the amount of cheaters i face when playing. Im getting frustrated by the Rp im gaining or losing. I get 750 Rp max but if i lose against a Team who has 50 or 60k more Rp as my Team i get -1,1k while carrieing my whole team with 15/8/12 and 8k dmg. This happens way to often. I hava a 68% Wr in Terminal Attack but I am now under the Rp i started the Season with. Please fix this. Than i will grinding ranked. But until that i will stop playing the game intirely... Was a great time with cashout as ranked mode. 🫡
Cashout isn’t the same. I think I’m out until the decide to bring it back for real. The matchmaking is terrible, but it’s the constant leavers without replacements and the 3 map rotation that is the most depressing change. Hopefully they wake up to this disaster in S4… if there is one… see you in Sept maybe.

Some of the masks do not work with hoodies. I see that it could cause some clipping but I would rather take that than being limited. For example the kitsune mask at the side of the head won't work, so you can't replicate the outfit from the concept art

I suggest updating the game engine to 5.4 in a future patch, as well as updating all available upscaling solutions to newer versions like DLSS to 3.7.0, XeSS to 1.3, and FSR to 3.1. UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

We are mad about TA taking over ranked is that it feels like betrayal of the original game we all spent money on and spent time on. If they can and will add tacked on modes which copy (poorly) other games like R6 or CSG, etc halfway through a season and then suddenly make that new trashy throw away mode the only Ranked mode possible, then what else can/will they change in the future? Will they make guns unlocked by $$$? Will they just go full COD or add Battleroyale? Etc, etc, etc... I frankly don't want to play TA. I didnt like TA and now seeing how theyve changed the core mode to TA for Ranked, I dont feel like i can trust them at all anymore. They claim Cashout is still the core experience for The Finals, but how can I be sure they wont just remove it entirely if people started playing TA more? What if a whole new crowd move in because a popular streamer starts running TA streams and the number of TA players suddenly outnumber Cashout for a month. Would you trust Embark to not just

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Community tournaments with improved spectator mode. Stream with multiple cameras (static on objective, mobile, player pov). Twitch rivals was a good start, but for newbies (and everyone else) it's very hard to follow only hectic player pov and understand teamfight mechanics. The game is quite hard. Make it more accessible.
World tour is bad because it doesn't mater if you win or lose you need to play it a lot too get better badge but it is only 2+1 maps. TA is dogshit. OH I forgot skyway stadium was in the map pool too.

Really need to make matchmaking faster on PS5 with no crossplay enabled. Near or longer than 10 minutes wait time during daytime hours is pretty terrible! Also, really need to add a Solo matchmaking option! No parties. No groups. No friends. Nobody knows nobody matches!! Getting really annoying playing against teams of people whom always play and have a routine way of playing/winning the game. Gets really common higher in the league ranks. Obviously they're always gonna win/advance. It's fine for people who want to play like that, but please just add something for those who don't want to play against parties. Balance it out... it's what the game is big on, right?

Servers still seem to be having extreme issues with the destruction. Feels more like a regression from before 3.1
Add max 2 per class to ranked TA. This way a ranked team can only have max 2 of every class. And a must have at least 1 of each class. This means more strategy and more balance. You will have to implement role queuing though. Meaning you pick what you want before you queue. Orrr a draft phase in the game that lasts a minute and everyone has a few seconds to pick their class one person at a time.

Maybe you Can give us the possibility to filter the maps... Coming across Kyoto 3 times in a row... it's unbearable... I hate this map... And even if I quit to play again , It still goes on Kyoto... it's crazy!
