Prioritising stats is a good thing as long as it's updated and accurate whenever any stats for the gun changes.

I do think that change history should stay at the bottom as it's possible for it to become massive and take up a lot of space for different weapon/gadget pages and we want consistent layout so even if it's not big on one page then it should be in the same spot.

This is my first time not only writing in The Finals wiki but writing a wiki article in general so there is likely many mistakes and issues, I would like to invite you all to critique my writing and formatting as well as let me know if a page like this really even belongs on the wiki.

Its mostly the same as other games, but does have very small quirks that make it different and the acceleration settings is something I've never seen before outside of steam input.

I find it very strange how the finals also allows you to keep aim assist in very specific situations. it's inconsequential but other games typically disable your aim assist entirely no matter what.

Usually the way it goes is that you have separate mediawiki installations for different language which requires more resources if you're having to run multiple wikis for multiple different languages. For example, fandom wikis that have multiple languages are actually just different wikis interconnected. You could do multiple languages in one wiki, however, that would be a mess and most likely very user unfriendly in terms of editing.

Then the other issue is actually having someone who is willing to translate EVERY page/template and also keep the pages up-to-date.

(I looked on your pages and didnt find it personally, but I could just be missing an obvious link)

Namely, Iseul-t won the "fan favorite" for last season despite them coming dead last in the "sponsor showdown" numbers (the 3 sets of point values that are on the bottom right of the home screen for the seasons sponsors). I was told this had something to do with world tour. Does anyone know where I can find an explination on how any of this works?

This is why I have been so confused, it seems like there are essentially 2 popularity competitions but no one paid any attention to this second one really.

Honestly, if this second competition was the whole reason Iseult was the only returning sponsor this season, I am a little upset that I wasnt given a better chance to fight for holtow. (I imagine this is how most people would feel if this is the case).

Come to think of it, when iseult was announced as a returning sponsor, embark cited them as "the fan favorite" which was so confusing because everyone assumed that was Holtow

Oh my god I think I figured it out, I think this should be added to the wiki if you get a chance... I dont think almost anyone realises how sponsors work in world tour (including me because I could easily be missing part of this picture)...

It looks like there is a final event in each season on world tour called "sponsor showdown" where your participation in world tour actually fucking matters in ways it otherwise never did. To the point it DECIDES who gets to come back the next season... That is super cool, but also incredibly brutal that no one seemed to notice or understood what was happening.

This seems pretty damn important to communicate the significance of this single event when it has such big implications, but this whole event system seems relatively new, so perhaps that is part of the reason it wasnt well understood. New things take time to learn and show, but I wager no one knows how important this event is in world tour in current day.

(also I wonder if it is entirely responsible to restrict this to only world tour, since many people may choose to grind competitive instead for the unlocks, not realizing that the whole time they could be fighting for their favorite sponsor to return the following season).

I have quite a bit I would add to Dagger.

First off, I would like to add trivia. We have a couple of beta Dagger players, and I’d include the patch notes to add all the precise numbers and old windup times—kind of like a history page. I am aware of the existing trivia page.

I’d also add details about:

The Hot Metal skin (the flame epic skin)
The Rare Triangle recolor
The "shitty" rare recolor
All the level-up recolors
The level 7 and level 8 level-up skin

Additionally, the wiki still says the Dagger has a 180-degree angle (aka 90 to -90 degrees), while it’s actually 75 to -75 degrees at the moment. (REVERT THIS STUPID NERF; DAGGER IS ALREADY DOGSHIT.)

There’s also no record that:

Dagger can one-shot Goo, which is the case (when thrown, the front is facing away).

Dagger can one-shot turrets, which is also the case (placement-based, hitting the back part).

Depends, sometimes we remove the DPS bit or put '?/N/A' on it (would rather people just remove a header completely if we have no data) when guns change stats like damage or pump time or whatever else may affect DPS. Then the stat gets added back in once it's figured out again.

I would advocate for that stat to just be removed from the pages unless you have concrete evidence of it, im doing a deep heavy guide and for the sake of comparing weapons im doing some simple dps comparison

it can oneshot light with fire, which is a part of the weapons dmg yet it says 2 shot light in the wiki

To be fair, the fire damage takes time to fully kill a light and with light ttk and the close proximity to the light you have to be I have never tried to kill a full health light with 1 shot alone, often times if i miss the 2nd shot they just kill me even if they die shortly after.
