good players are good regardless of what the current meta is, anyone who can't hold their own bc swords get nerfed or pike is OP can't claim to be good. High rank crutch players are not real, just ones with preferences. There are less than 10 sword players that can hang, but sure sword is rampant lol.

Also I don't stream and lights still aren't meta in tournaments, they never have been, their role has remained the same since the beginning: noob stomping and being annoying. The only time they were meta was during s3 terminal attack ranked, where one of the most effective top team compositions was LLLLFlex.

It's fine to say that the way light plays or swords killing you makes gameplay not enjoyable and for there to be changes. But let's not pretend lights are strong, if you're getting rolled by lights you may be on the lower end of the skill curve.

Fact brother. If you remember a game called Vampire Masquerade Blood Hunt, it died in this exact manner. It had decent gunplay with a TTK that made sense, 3rd person sort of perk based BR... Then they added these bs melee high mobility 2 hit items and it became a no brainer to even use weapons. SO FUN, 300 players. Finals is headed there and you can already see after every update how rapid the playerbase decline is after the update hype dies down. People get frustrated for a good reason, you get to a certain level where people are more competent, but this only makes the gameplay more nonsensical instead of the opposite. Embark plz fix.

• its not my job to caught and check for potential cheaters. I face and play against/with very good players and I have to focus on my own level, not to check is somebody is cheating or not. I'm doing a lot of work for the security team by providing lot of evidences and videos of cheaters i face, and they dont move a pinkie. They are completly clueless about their anticheat solution and clearly don't trust their anticheats. They just check with statistics and number of reports; if that crosses a certain number, they take action. That's how known and good players got false banned in previous seasons AND manually unbanned, because they had no proofs of people cheating.

Being targeted by a loss of points without any explanation, all my dedication just got cancelled because someone in embark office decided to and its just pointless to grind this game anymore because it could happen again and again
(edit : yes, asked Embark for an explanation, at least a list of names that i played with/against that made me lose that much points. Ok so I know this might be an unpopular opinion but Tracking dart > Stun. Stun is really good but tracking dart in my eyes is better, not just because I got a kill with it but because if you hit someone with a tracking dart their ass is lit up for your entire team for 15 seconds was it? Stun only works if you are in a 1v1 encounter if someone is lagging behind tracking dart you can just ding ding ding them all now you can pick off whoever you choose, now your team sees that as well. Since it does a little bit of damage it also can be used to blow up the crates, which is amazing as a sword light. you normally can't and sometimes you go "oh I wish I could have a red barrel" or "oh if I was able to get that poison i could has thrown it onto the cashout." now you can with the hitscan weapon just aim center mass on someone and they are marked. It is REALLY fun.

idk bro I use sword, always bring both taser and tracking dart with me, it's quite funny to ding opponents from across the map (and also if you hit a heavy attack on a light two tracking dart hits kill, shit basically aims for you too)

Guess it is a personal thing for me, I know the taser is good one of the best things but my loadout goes like this. Sword/Grenades/vanish/Tracking as you see above. I have used the taser to stop cashouts but I can never really stalk someone to get that taser to pick off someone is all. I was even hoping that the taser did like 1 damage in previous seasons because of the crate thing. Also good to know that a charged attack and 2 kills lights, and I am sure you know this but even though the tracking dart can pop the balloons it can't break through poison canisters at least i haven't tried hard enough yet.

Also when you have a ten minute cooldown between messages might as well get your bang for your buck.

taser is just super handy, basically guarantees you a kill against any opponent with average motor skills, but if you don't like it then use gateway (that's what all the pros say to use because muh mobility)

also the darts do 5 damage, if you go outside and sneeze on a sheet of metal, it isn't going to suddenly explode

Can someone please get ahold of embark and ask them to restructure the rank penalties for teams that don’t have a 3rd due to matchmaking issues. Understandable sort of for when a player leaves mid match but to go in first round, solo Q, as a 2 player team is rough for any rank. It’s almost a time waste and hurts to get a 1000 RS penalty for something out of the team’s control. Apex legends does a great job in their ranking system for allowing 0 de rank points for when matchmaking cannot find enough players. Obviously that’s different due to it being a battle royal. Praying SOMEONE at embark sees this and at least allows for a lesser RS penalty in the first round for 2 player teams.
