rob seemed to emphasize that we didnt NEED the emote roses to unlock an easter egg but i feel like he was definetly implying that we could use the emote roses to get to the next step. considering i have never seen a rose anywhere other than practice range, has anyone ever bothered messing around with the emote?

Had a theory for the rose that made me think instead of finding a water source, we have to make it. 269 and the nitrogen phosphorus and potassium was what I thought. Nitrogen is the only gas of the 3 elements, phosphorus is flammable, and I didn't know enough about potassium so I assumed it was either smoke or goo. 269 is the numbers you need to get for each barrel. 2 gas, 6 fire, and 9 smoke/goo. I just tried doing this in pr, but the barrels just flew all over the place and destroyed the roses. Idk if my method was already tried before, but now its safe to say it didn't work

im almost positive at this point that the roses in the practice range are just for awareness, rob even said picking them up there wont help with the easter egg. i think theres 5 maps with 1 rose each and thats what the roses in the practice range symbolize

i will say, in practice range, destroyed the generator, put the 5 roses in the electricity, and threw a "powder" (smoke) barrel on top of the roses and electricity and now the smoke has been here for like 10 minutes

Yeah.. I feel like smoke definitely has a play. St. Valintine curse someone’s blindness. The bean stalk grows into the clouds, and potassium nitrate is found in smoke powder. But that’s probably just my flayed mind lol

I ran around for a few hours but nothing stuck out. Only place I wasn’t able to get into was the giant bottom box which sits a few feet below the actual floor… so nothing just waiting to move into play from outside the map.. nothing visible

okay, so, i mentioned earlier that i remembered seeing a rose in a match on monaco a while back, and now that i think about it, i think it was during a valentines day event? that could be related to the mention of st valentine, as well as that map having easy access to actual water to grow the rose (various fountains, as well as the sea water of the oceans if you throw the rose off the map)

it would be a little wild to have a requirement of the easter egg to be DURING the valentines event each year

but since they say its their biggest one then maybe that is the case

i know the finals has had valentines easter eggs for most of its life though, right? thought there was one in season one or at least season two that i remember

hello everybody, i studied the case of the roses the entire day, the things i found, (if you want to know were did i know everything i am gonna talk about you should go look at slop's video he published yesterday on YouTube): first of all embark already talked about the fact we should use less nitrogen and more potassium and more phosphore, so i went to look on the internet what would reducing nitrogen on roses would do to the roses, "Nitrogen deficiency often leads to stunted growth, pale or yellowing leaves (chlorosis), and reduced yields." (cropcuts.com) which is kind of strange because rob said multiple times "fee-fi-fo-fum" which is a direct reference to the jack and the beanstalk, and we all know that in this story the beanstalk grows immensely, but, rob, one day, also responded to a twitch chat message saying "any gardening tips for roses?" (which is a sneaky way of asking for clues on this Easter egg) by saying (rob) "roses are red, that much is true, but they wont stay red if you don't give them due... they need a good drink, not a coffee or tee, maybe plain old water, perhaps straight from the sea.!" while roses can turn yellow without nitrogen, so i think the roses will turn yellow, but how??? well we have to know that there is nitrogen, potassium and phosphore in sea water, so i searched ways to reduce nitrogen, and guess WHAT?! Growing nitrogen-fixing plants can also help, and guess What?! beans are one of these plants!!!!! to conclude i think we should find a way to find beans and sea water to turn the roses yellow.

So for the roses, I did some searching in the tutorial levels and found that there are 8 storm drains (the ones that say “The Sea Begins Here”). I wonder if you need to load into a private match and have 8 people stand/interact with these specific ones. Maybe the rose emote where you throw them into the drain (“watering” roses with water from “the sea”)

searching around for vaiiya/camera related things on citadel, not sure if its been found before but I found two binary lines, both on vaiiya's side. i'll type out the binary in case im wrong about translations (binary to ASCII), since different sites were giving different answers.

theres a few places to find the first one, but its the "Mindwall Series (1011101110000)" which i got "p" out of.

the second was on the first floor of operations, on some glass next to a security desk. 000011100100001001, which i got "B" out of.

third, on monitors throughout vaiiya side, 11111010000, which gave me this "�"

site used to translate was Rapidtables so im not sure about the monitor's binary.

So I have a Bernal theory and I can't seem to find anything anywhere about it. I know that Rob likes codes and such and I have an untested theory. But I can't seem to get the conditions correct on a Private match, so it might only be tested in a real match.

Is there a Rainy weather condition for Bernal? Because there was a particular place my friend and I were at where we both, independently of each other, thought we heard morse code. We don't know morse code, but we both made a comment that it did sort of have that rhythmic pattern that morse code has.

I don't know, but because Rainy isn't a condition I can select in a private match, it's driving me crazy that I can't test it. I just hope to get lucky in a normal match rotation that it's Rainy. Or that I hope that Rainy wasn't removed from the rotation entirely. I feel like I'm losing my mind because I can't seem to find any indication that there ever was a rainy condition for that map. But my friend and I both remember the conversation and know we heard the tapping of rain.

I would even be down to run WT or QP's with somebody in the meantime to hope we land on a rainy Bernal so I can test it. (I downloaded a audio morse code translator, just for the moment that I find that condition again)
