I may be tripping but what if "DISSUN" means DIS = Distributed Interactive Simulation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_Interactive_Simulation) and they're just simulating the sun in the finals universe. The sun would then be a digital asset than could be insured by HOLTOW. Since Holtow seems to be evil - they may run them out of money or whatever - and thats why the Sun is in danger? tbh this reminded me of the maniac computer and it got me kinda looking back into some old stuff I was doing. So you remember how a while back I was talking about the Vega rocket, its named after the star in the Lyra system. So two things I originally noticed were that it said Vega's VV05, which literally reads as vegas VVV now that I think about it, and Avum being the name of the liquid rocket they use but also the counterpart to Ovum being grandfather and egg. But what I just found out is that Avum and Ovum is that they're both tech related companies aswell. Avum is the name of a company specializing in software dev and system engineering along with cyber security/devspecops https://www.avum.com and that Ovum is the name of a tech company now under/called Omdia whose slogan is literally "connecting the dots" and the way I got to that vega rocket originally was pretty much through a big game of connect the dots following different things linked to EE/mythology/star references which is pretty interesting

I just don't know what else it could mean if anything so it was kinda scrapped 😩

I still feel like the maniac computer is something important though, it had a lot pointing towards it and it's largely related to the atomic bomb (which I've seen some references to b4) and the elements related to it filled the elements directly leading up to mendelevium which we'd used before from impervious along w/other clues. I just feel like it can't go nowhere after it connects to Percival/Asaph hall, Project discovery, R-processes, and then even ties back into to both monte carlo/monaco and specifically 6x6 no bishops chess which is the same exact type of chess referenced in the story from Percival in the first place which is also named with a Rhotacism referencing to Rhodents I mean theres just no way all of that is coincidence

there was also 2 skins in game related to it, one referencing the date down to the decade and another referencing the game mentioned leading up to the video that takes us to project discovery. I just don't know what the maniac computer goes to after that aside from a solid reference for the nuclear bomb or like maayyybbee related to the Maniac Mansion game rob was talking about but I just don't know what it would be related to

I disagree with this take. If EEs are in a preview build then that is totally on Embark if people find them. Everyone has their own interests in this game and those of us that are content creators each aim to present info or gameplay on particular aspects of the game, including Easter Eggs. You could use the same argument you present to say that content creators invited to the preview event shouldn’t use the new weapons because not everyone has access to them. But if Embark don’t want anyone to find EEs in a preview build, then they shouldn’t put them in there in the first place. If they’ve put them in there, then that is Embark saying “we’re happy for people with access to this build to find Easter Eggs.” If you personally don’t like that the Easter Eggs are in the build in the first place, that’s ok, but I suggest you tell that to Embark rather than suggesting that those of us who chose to look for Easter Eggs during the preview event did something wrong.

I personally am 50/50 on it.

I feel we are low on numbers as a community. We are diversified and everyone needs something to feel involved, have fun, to be able to contribute. That's how we grow as a number.

• some people like to solve the cypher,
• some like to find hidden images/audio/videos,
• some like to make connections,
• some spend hours in the game trying to find something

I feel the 4th type of people will feel left out. For example if someone did find something in preview, some people could think to themselves, that they could have found it myself if they have access to it.

At the same time 1st and 3rd type of people won't mind at all if you give them the BP info to make connections.

Still reading but, batteries do last 2 to 3 times longer in colder environments, i think putting them near ice isn't the best idea but if those are not Lipo batteries then not much harm can be done, im not super sure on this but this happens because the cold slows down the reaction rate, so you increase the lifespan of the battery but at the same time it may struggle to mantain charge and release as much energy
