my current theory is that there was a previous iteration of "THE FINALS" where Scotty, Odilia and other legendary contestants played in. similar to how we had the Thunderdome Games before the Apex Games in Apex Legends

and keep in mind VOLPE's VR tech is barely in its 2.1 version. so there is a possibility that we had a similar type of game show before this one

The Boundless: possibly just hinting at an out of bounds ee (i dont think its the dolphins tho) possible hint towards Ospuze Kraken (i cant see it spawning in the map is all).
The Retros: i think this might relate to the Kyoto Floppy disc ee (as its retro in a futurish style game)
The Mighty: again i think this may relate to a different un hinted oob giant/monster/entity thing and if not than possibly just the kraken again ? This ones a bit loose.

So I know this message is from months ago, but I was messing around and did the same thing. (I searched the word "doina" in this thread to see if anyone had mentioned this.)

I'm not sure if this is anything, may be a stretch, but I came across Restaurant Doina and started doing some research to see if I could tie anything together. One thing I noticed right off the bat, was this random shape at the bottom right of the menu: https://i.imgur.com/yyeysZR.jpeg which (this part might be me reaching), looks very similar to the roof line of the restaurant from a certain angle: https://www.restograf.ro/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Casa-Doina-130ani.jpg

This made me start diving into much more. I started searching up the words along the outside of the building just under that roof segment (where there is a gap in the drawing assuming this shape = Doina) and found ties to Egyptian pharaohs. Another possible tie is that the name of the building is owed to a Romanian military man named Pavel Kiseleff, who is known for "building very important avenues, parks, restaurants". they are 5 seconds apart of each other and the number depends on the "rank" (military or w/e) - the royal twins got 42 salute shots in monaco

everyone gets a random number from a set of picked numbers.. I think

6, 21, 43 are the ones I've heard about so far from others

in the practice range they show up with 9 I believe.. and the preview images I think they have 8

but it's possible that 21 is an intentional connection

For example, one of the numbers is 43, which would be AE in leet. "ae" means "yes" and it's used in New Zealand. However, if you mirror those letters you get EA.. like Battlefield EA

each number could have its own collection of meanings

(which is true in real life, but some of the meanings here could be puzzle ones)

or even account id number

something is typically used when associating a random number to someone. For example, maybe the timestamp that holds the creation time of the account that uses Unix epoch
