The first can mean the following:

• Either def stands for a word, like definition
• Either we need to get something out of the steps d, e and f (0vif0rm, cacoiii and vit3llus)

For the second one can be:

• Literally f - 1, like the letter e
• The step before (cacoiii)
• Getting something from step f and subtracting or appending 1 to it
• The first element of step f, like first letter or number

My original question (which Rob replied with an equation to area of hexagon) was "do radiant green butterflies see in binary?". This was in reference to the two ques-tion images and if the answer could be found within the RGB values by converting things into binary... steganography. Rob's answer could be taken as an affirming nod to that if you interpret the hexagon as just "hex", meaning hex color value.

Currently, the only image manipulation ive seen here is toying with adjustment layers in PS. Rob did also mention that certain clues needed very specific steps to uncover them within select images. Doing this binary conversion does indeed seem quite specific....

I’ve been exploring the monoco map a bit more just out of curiosity, I was able to find 5 or 6 other statues of men and women that could easily be blown up and destroyed, but the only statue that has both a man and woman is indestructible, kinda symbolic but could also be clue
