one night three dawns might reference one win equating to the freedom of three contestants, if the theory that the games are a subset of elitist entertainment schemes holds true, its relatively possible that the four sponsors each represent an aspect of the simulation, holtow is the security policy behind the games, they "insure" the simulation against external and internal threats, volpe keeps the contestants in a realistic narrative and setting, ospuze keeps the contestants energized through likely intravenous or tube fed energy supplement, and iseult provides the entertainment value in the form of fashion and design. My personal theory:

OSPUZE contains an addictive drug, but all it really does is numb negative emotions. Contestants drink this prior to plugging in, their slogan is literally "Pop. Pour. Preform." meaning drink an OSPUZE and then preform in THE FINALS.

Maybe a probable explanation for this is the contestants are playing in a life-like simulation, feeling like you are going out and killing 10 people like it's real life could be quite traumatic, maybe OSPUZE helps numb the contestant's negative emotions to prevent this from happening.

This would explain why Scotty drank a whole can of OSPUZE in a few seconds (he's addicted, as he's tried it before as a former contestant), and then was suddenly so chill about the "hacking" situation BECAUSE of the OSPUZE.

There is no proof that June was a former contestant, so maybe she has never drinked the drink before, and that's why she is able to actually put a bit of thought in to it and realize they are hacks from CNS.

"The writing is on the rules, literally." from June is likely referring the S LIES text, found on Monaco, I think, which is a map sponsored by OSPUZE. S LIES refers to "Sofia Petronelle" the CEO of OSPUZE. Maybe the contestants aren't fully aware of what OSPUZE actually does, or that it is even a drug really at all.
