She sent it in a message that she didn’t think it would be good for her and for me to be in a relationship since she was unable to do anything. Since her reasoning was sound and it was 5 am I agreed. We still are friends and see each other every day due to a shared sport. I currently think it was the right choice cause looking back I kinda changed into someone I wasn’t very fond of and she is looking a lot better mentally. I’m not in the spot to give you major advice cause I’ve only been in one relationship and am relatively young. I try not to live with any regrets but I also understand that it’s hard for other people to do that. If you have a good relationship with your parents I would talk to them about it. From what it seems you didn’t fail her. She failed you and she recognized that. I hope you can find a way to resolve this

It’s hard not to take it so personally because for an entire month she became distant and decided to hang out with her friends more than me this past month and communication slowed down so much I became confused, anxious, and lonely.
