There's a good reason why I joined it back when I did. All the alternatives were hidden group chats and forums for the most part. At this point in time, Discord has just about all the features you could ask for in a platform meant for connecting with others. However, one cool feature it could use is a classic chat room channel where people can see active participants. Or maybe just seeing recent chatters in the channel would be enough.

Seeing who's online doesn't help when you're chatting in a large server and half the people are invisible (I am one of those people 🙋)

Surprisingly, certain platforms have been incorporating such features more recently (like Patreon), but at this point Discord is more feature-rich.

for the 102,858,49 time: Horde shooter games do NOT have big audiences, the only reason that helldivers was soooo big at launch is because it was a very good horde shooter, if you look at somthing like DRG, its very good too but companies dont market it much cuz its not a high money maker. I've reached peak regularity there where I very often get offered free extra kebab, or fries and very often they offer me free drinks too.

They're sorta neat, mauna kea is big and huge with occasional snow. The other one occasionally erupts and you check out the lava if you enjoy hiking across lava rock with no shade
