I think the game is good. It's not really "incomplete" unless you're viewing the game from the point of view of anyone besides the Squad. The game is about the Squad learning to actually work together, Braniac and the League is just a vehicle for that plot to be told. Personally I feel like it's pretty good looter shooter with excellent movement mechanics & fun combat.

Well I draw a rectangle with the rotation I want my character in, then I turn it to 3d so I have a 3d shape to work with, instead of just drawing a torso from the get go

Yeah exactly. I was in college with absolutely no goal. I switched to an art path which comes with a lot of uncertainty and doubt but at least I have a goal. Its the difference between driving down a tunnel with no end vs driving down a tunnel with a light at the end. Its the same distance, one just comes with more motivation
